“So the running joke is that the Home Depot has terrible customer service and associates hide from you when you go there. I had to run to the garden center for something, and had the opposite experience. The staff member manning the entrance greeted me when I came in, and helped me find the item I was looking for. The aisles are a little wacky and he wasn't able to direct me perfectly, and I had to do some wandering and scrounging. Still, he was so nice and at least seemed willing to help, which is more service than I usually get in these kinds of big box home stores. I'm not super handy so I can't really weigh in on everything here, but the garden center was pretty nice.”

“Vollmer Farms is now open for the season. They have a lot of plants, soil, and vegetable plants. I'm waiting for the farm store to open in July. I don't have room to plant anything at this time.”
