My 16-year-old Chinchilla Persian, Apple, recently had surgery, and the care we received was absolutely world-class. What truly sets Dr. Penyy apart is her incredible heart and selflessness. I’ve seen her kneeling on the floor for a long time just to carefully remove Apple’s sutures one by one, showing zero ego. She once even accidentally bumped her head because she was focusing so intensely on examining him, yet her only concern was making sure we weren’t worried! She genuinely puts the well-being of the cats above everything else. Despite her busy schedule, she is always responsive—answering questions late at night or on weekends with professional guidance. She remembers every detail of Apple’s health stats, which gives me so much peace of mind. As an artist, Apple is my muse, and I picked up watercolor specifically to capture the beauty of cats. I was so moved by Dr. Penyy’s dedication that I painted a miniature watercolor of her caring for Apple. When I gave it to her, she was so surprised and called it 'so artistic'—her reaction meant the world to me. My husband and I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing, compassionate doctor in our corner. “Dr. Wallach is truly the vet everyone needs. He takes his time and speaks to you before and after seeing your pet and goes over diagnosis and prognosis in so much detail. I've transferred care from another vet in the area and have never looked back since! My dog Coco was in pain due to unknown causes and Dr. Wallach has been wonderful. “Dr. Julie is truly one of the most honest, knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring veterinarians I have ever met. Before finding Dr. Julie, I had already been to six different appointments with my cat. At every one, I was told that they could not help us and that I needed to find a clinic with different equipment. Every visit came with another charge, and as a single-income household, this was becoming incredibly difficult for me. I found Dr. Julie because her clinic had the equipment that was supposed to be needed for my cat’s condition. Unfortunately, when I arrived, we discovered that a special attachment was required, one specifically used by veterinary dermatologists. I was absolutely devastated. I was so overwhelmed and frustrated that I actually started crying because I felt like I had spent so much money going from one place to another without getting any closer to helping my cat. Dr. Julie did something I will never forget: she did not charge me for the visit. On top of that, she spent a significant amount of her own time researching and finding a specialist who could actually help us. She sent me all the information, offered to make a referral, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had a path forward. That level of kindness, honesty, and genuine concern for an animal and their family is incredibly rare. Dr. Julie never made me feel like I was just another appointment or another bill. She truly cared about helping my cat. I honestly don’t know how I can thank her enough for everything she did for us. Leaving this review is the least I can do. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, honest, compassionate veterinarian who puts your pet’s well-being first, you can stop looking. I cannot recommend Dr. Julie highly enough. She is truly a wonderful doctor and an even more wonderful human being.”

“My dogs have been seeing Dr. Julie Andino for over 17 years. We followed her from another vet’s office. Besides being an excellent veterinarian, she is very caring and loves the pets she cares for. She recently saw us through a tough time when we had to make the terrible decision to put our dogs down due to old age and illness. She was supportive and compassionate throughout this difficult time for our family. She cried with us. I am happy to say that we are back with our new dog, Mabel. The staff at VCG-Glen Oaks is kind and friendly. The office is always immaculate. All calls are responded to quickly. I highly recommend VCG-Glen Oaks.”

She squeezed me in to see my two newly adopted cats when I found out one of them was given to me sick. She examined them both and prescribed medicine, taking the time to teach me how to administer and tips on how to keep the cats calm and how to prevent myself from getting scratched! “I miss Dr.B we use to go here but unfortunately i had stopped due to him only being there 3 days a week and not every month it was hard I need a vet who is more available for my baby. But he was a great Docor I do call time to time with concerns and questions because i do still only trust him compared to these other vets I will be going back just he’s so busy he has the longest wait times and my boy can’t wait with other dogs unfortunately. But i will be seeing him soon and he is amazing with understanding the animals and the owners.”

“The doctors and nurses here were absolutely wonderful and took such great care of my Thea. They were incredibly patient and gentle with her. My puppy got so nervous that she had an accident, but the male nurse didn’t blame her at all. Instead, he comforted her and helped her feel less anxious. When it was time for her shot, they gave her some delicious canned food, which kept her happy and distracted. She finished her vaccination without any pain or stress at all. She went from being nervous to actually loving everyone at this clinic. Such an amazing place with truly caring people. I highly recommend this clinic!”
