“I went to Sylvia to order a qipao for my wedding and she was wonderful. She was very accommodating and able to fit me into her schedule on short notice so I could look through her collection. Her daughter was present at my appointment to assist and they were both so friendly and helpful. The space is small, but they didn’t hover and allowed me time to look around at my own pace. I didn’t feel rushed at all. Sylvia took thorough measurements to ensure a good fit from the start. I didn’t need any further alterations after I picked up the qipao. The quality of the dress was stunning and looked so beautiful. I’m trying to find an excuse to wear it again!”

“Made an 8:30PM reservation for 2 on Sunday night. Even with the reservation we were seated about 15 minutes after arrival. The service was excellent, the waiter was friendly and very attentive. Unfortunately the place is very LOUD (as it is popular), we were also informed that the kitchen was having issue and were restricted on what we could order. To make up for the difference management offered free dessert. The food (although not hot) tasted absolutely amazing and the portion was perfect for 2 people. Overall not the best experience but I will return once the kitchen issue is resolved.”

He saw and understood each of our needs based on our field of work, even my youngest son, who has two different-sized feet. He had the time and patience to explain everything, down to the numbers on each style of sneakers and why they are numbered. “I visited Lane Bryant in Green Acres Mall, Valley Stream on March 5, 2025 to return an item I purchased online. I had no intention on making a purchase while in the store this visit, however as I was leaving a sundress caught my eye. Ms. Shirley informed me that it was the last day of the sale and now would be a good tube to buy it if I liked it. She helped me with a couple more dresses and in finding the right size fit me. I ended up purchasing two dresses at a really great price. Ms. Shirley was very patient, professional, extremely helpful and went above and beyond. She made my shopping experience enjoyable. I even received a thank you card in the mail from Ms. Shirley. You can’t ask for better customer service. Ms. Shirley is truly a great asset to the Lane Bryant team.”
