420B Tarrytown Rd, White Plains NY 10607

    5 Superb 20 reviews

“I cannot speak highly enough of Gothic Cabinet Craft located on Tarrytown Road in White Plains. The sales person Robert is very knowledgeable about the merchandise and has a positive vibe about him. One can tell that he truly enjoys his job.My first purchase was a platform bed made of birchwood which includes six drawers. I purchased it 5 years ago and Robert was the salesman then. To this day the bed has remained intact.Gothic Cabinet Craft makes the best wood furniture in the US. They make very solid and durable pieces that last for a very long time.About a month ago I bought a storage piece which is called a chiffonier. It has seven drawers ,a door & 2 shelves. I had it painted in Golden oak. It looks so beautiful in my living room. I appreciate this piece so much because Robert was able to help me choose the right color that would go well with my living room furniture.I must say that a salesman that takes the time to truly provide great customer service makes the shopping experience at Gothic Cabinet Craft very pleasant. I highly recommend coming here to purchase high quality wood furniture. You won't regret it.”

“Juan rocks! Village Furniture & Mattress is the absolute best! My wife and I recently purchased a bed and mattress from Village Furniture & Mattress, and we could not be happier. Juan Moronta has a beautiful selection of high-quality furniture at incredibly affordable prices. From the moment we walked in, Juan provided excellent, elegant, and completely no-pressure advice. He knew exactly what we needed, and his recommendations were spot on. Even though I knew right then and there that we were going to buy from him, we opted to do our due diligence and checked out 10 other furniture and bedding stores. After all that looking around, we returned right back to our original conclusion: Juan and Village Furniture are unmatched. The furniture arrived exactly as promised. And it is clear that the top sets the tone for the whole business because the delivery and set-up team were just as professional, courteous, and knowledgeable as Juan. We highly and without reservation recommend Village Furniture & Mattress!”

“There's a Raymour and Flanigan in my neighborhood that my family has purchased from often - mainly due to the convenience, as their customer service has been inconsistent over the years. This time, we happened upon the Raymour and Flanigan in Yonkers on Central Avenue and decided to check this location. The salesman was very professional, informative and welcoming. He compared features between the mattresses within an slightly above our budget without feeling like he was upselling to us. He answered all questions and provided delivery information. The entire process was satisfactory, streamlined and fairly quick. The customer service rep who finalized the sale was pleasant and polite. Overall it was a very good experience and we feel confident that will ultimately be satisfied with the mattress we selected with the salesman's assistance.”

Their sales team was highly patient in understanding my requirements and ensured that everything was fitting well and delivered on time, even stopped by my home to identify what would work best for me. The installation team went the extra mile to resolve issues with my setup. I don't think I would have been able to complete my order if I went with the big box retailers. Highly recommend!”

  23. The Cherry Door Thrift Shop - 36 Main St

36 Main St, Tarrytown NY 10591

    4.7 Superb 43 reviews

“It’s a small neighborhood thrift store, but honestly, it’s better than expected. While it doesn’t have the huge selection you’d find in larger thrift stores, the items are nicely curated with a lot of vintage charm, making it fun to browse. Prices are very affordable, so it’s a great spot if you’re looking for good deals. If you’re lucky, you can definitely find some hidden gems—it’s very much a “treasure hunt” kind of place. The staff are friendly, and the overall vibe is warm and welcoming. That said, the store is on the smaller side and not perfectly organized, so it’s best to take your time and look around carefully. A small but charming thrift shop where you can score great finds if luck is on your side”

“I ordered two Maxwell chairs back in January. Yes you have to be very patient with delivery. I think the original delivery estimate I was given was 8-14 weeks and they arrived in 19 weeks but I did read all the reviews before I ordered so I was prepared for delays. Now that they are here I am so happy with them as they are absolutely gorgeous in my room. One of the chairs had a small defect and customer service has been excellent resolving for me. I highly recommend ordering swatches first and I did also visit the Interior Define store in NYC which made me realize I wanted the chairs 18 inches high (and not the default 16 inches). Overall I am very happy with my purchase and giving 4 stars not 5 only because delivery took longer than estimated.”
