“I highly recommend Gods N Gladiators. My friend and I came across them at the ROC Holiday village and we ended up purchasing one zip up for each of ourselves, and I also bought a hoodie for my niece for Christmas. We love the prints on our pieces, the colors are vivid and well-balanced together, the quality of the material is perfect (super soft on the inside, and they don't feel too thin/cheap), and we really enjoyed hearing about the art process. This business is a great point of representation of the Rochester art scene. Thanks so much for the perfect Christmas gift find! p.s. They told her she would have to try and get customers to add to their purchases. I have shopped in that store numerous times and have never had anyone ask me if I needed help or try to get me to buy more!!!”

“When I came to SJ's Village Boutique, I wasn't in a very good mood. I'd had an emotionally damaging experience the day before, and I was stressed out looking for a dress to wear to my bridal shower. “I had a really wonderful customer service experience here. When I needed a different size of jeans help was gladly offered before I could even ask. I could hear the attendant helping many other customers too with a playful jolly… this mood made everyone’s shopping experience nice, I could tell, and I felt very comfortable and supported.In fact, I only went in to buy some belts and jewelry I had preselected online… but the natural, fun, and respectful nature of the stores mood I felt welcome to linger and browse. Because of this Madewell sold me three more pairs of jeans and sunglasses. I am actually very pleased with the purchase because the attendants helped me decide on the best fit of the jeans with some styling input. So I leave feeling happy to have gone, satisfied with my purchase, and convincing my sister she needs to go with me next. I suppose my message is that management should endlessly value their employees, and patrons can rest assured they’ll have a very pleasant and customized visit at this store.”

“I shopped here today and had a great experience with help from Trent. He was saying hello and welcoming each customer as they came into the store, then asked if there was anything particular I was looking for. I really hate shopping and had been in about 13 stores before this, without any store employees acknowledging me. So at this point I wanted help. I told him that I was looking for jeans and it had been years since I've bought a pair. I live on an island so shorts are my "go to." He was so quick to pull a couple pair and ask if I liked the style, then helped me find sizes. While I was in the dressing room, I could hear his bubbly personality greeting customers and helping other customers. When I cashed out, he was busy, but I was sure to thank him and tell him the store is lucky to have him! He's an asset to that store. I would've spent $300 on those jeans and not even blinked an eye lol! I literally did not even look at the cost. The experience was that great! As a business owner I can appreciate that he was loving his job and working hard for the company. Most people these days show up to work and do the minimum just to get a pay check. I could tell Trent liked what he was doing. And if he was faking it, then fake it till you make it Trent! You are fabulous and Buckle is lucky to have you. Thank you again for a lovely shopping experience.”

The store is big though so you may not always be able to find someone within view. Gap and Gap kids are connected so you can get all your family's shopping done in one checkout. “Went here to buy Scrubs. They have a nice selection of decently priced sets. The sizes run a bit small. I ordered a Large as it said it was for size 14 and 16. Ended up needing to return all the pants and sets for a size up. I was able to make returns no problem with the receipt. I will shop here again now that I understand the sizing.”
