I called this store, and Natalie and Mariam went above and beyond by taking the time to check if they had them in stock instead of just guessing. “No weekend is complete without a run to 5 Below. It's always for something that's needed like a phone charger cord and then I wind up seeing so many other things that I feel like I must have. This location is usually pretty well stocked and the staff is friendly. Every once in a while they're short handed up front but they seem to make it work. On this trip I got pillows and a throw for my guest bedroom because they were super cute and affordable. I also bought another bookcase/organizer because I used one of theirs for my pop up shop set up and it works really great. Even though some things are more than $5 most of my items were actually $5. If you have a very small child, I'm warning you they have lots of cute toys and a lot of candy especially near the checkout so either prep them before you go in or don't bring them.”

“This store has so many things that you can shop for all in one place!! Milk, soda, bread, cookies, cases of water, eggs, pots, pans, toiletries, slippers, mops, brooms, towels, sheets, rugs, curtains, curtain rods, detergent, cleaners, greeting cards, wrapping paper, toilet paper 🧻 and so much more!!! The staff are pleasant and usually very helpful. So when you get a chance drop by and take a look 👀!!!”

“This store has a huge variety of items, including household essentials like curtains, mats, rugs, pillows, and kitchen supplies. They also carry clothing for both men and women, toys for younger kids, snacks, and a great amount of seasonal decorations. Their holiday section is always well-stocked, especially during Christmas — trees, lights, ornaments, and a lot of festive displays.
Prices are very affordable, but the quality can be hit or miss. Some items are decent for the price, while others feel cheap or misleading. One issue is that the store sometimes displays high-quality decorations, but the boxed version next to it is not the same product — it’s a cheaper variation. It’s easy to assume you’re buying what you see, so always double-check. There are plenty of outlets around the store, and the staff usually allows you to test lights or open certain items. When in doubt, ask an associate before buying.
The store can get extremely crowded, and the aisles are small, which makes shopping a bit stressful during busy times.
Another downside is the loss prevention process at the exit. The worker by the front door often checks bags and receipts even if you’re simply carrying multiple shopping bags. Most of the time, all they do is highlight the date on your receipt, but you still end up waiting in a line just to leave — especially frustrating when the store is already packed. It can feel unnecessary and a little annoying.
Overall, the store has good variety, friendly staff inside, and great seasonal deals, but be prepared for crowds, inconsistent product quality, and slow, inconvenient checkout at the exit”

“This place became an essential source of basic supplies during quarantine, and once the city opened back up I kept shopping there because their selection of affordable basics is impressive. Even though the prices are affordable a lot of the products are not poor quality. You'll (sometimes) find brand names like Ziploc, Reynolds, Dawn - all cheaper than Amazon or Target. Masks, hand sanitizer, and GOOD household cleaners and disinfectants are all plentiful. Their tool section is also really great, door stops, rope, screwdrivers, batteries, wrenches, hammers, nails and screws. They have tons of kitchen supplies as well as glassware. Also underwear and socks, hair products. And random things like magnets with funny faces and gaudy pictures of glittery flowers. They pack a lot into a very small space and it's always very organized. And the cashiers are always very nice!”

“When walking into the store I was lost and was even directed to the wrong isle when looking for a new drainer, by two employees!!! Very Frustrating! But when I was about to leave Isabella had been very kind and walked me over to the right isle she was really respectful and nice definitely a great employee. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I even wanted a suitcase from a top shelf and she helped me get exactly what I needed for my trip to Japan. My experience there was quick with her help and I got everything I needed. Definitely coming again if service like that is maintained of course. She even was my cashier and helped me check out my products. Fantastic service!!!”

For the working class every penny matters in the 2022 era of inflation and agflation surging to the sky for a turbulent economy. I do support local Mom and Papa stores for the community.This discount store is well stocked and the male owner is very knowledgeable about his inventory and products available in stock. Price is reasonably inexpensive compared with other stores in this locale Queens neighborhood. He is acutely aware of a degreaser name Awesome Cleaner Degreaser as I have been seeking as a substitute for Easy-Off Oven Cleaner.”

“You can honestly never go wrong with Five Below. They have a little bit of everything — snacks, toys, room décor, electronics, beauty items, games, and random finds you didn’t even know you needed. It’s one of those stores where you walk in for one thing and somehow leave with a bag full of stuff.
The prices are affordable, which makes it even better, especially when shopping for kids or quick gifts. The store can get a bit messy depending on the location, but overall it’s always fun to browse around and see what new things they have.”

“This is hands down the best Five Below location! The store is always clean, organized, and fully stocked, making every shopping trip enjoyable. The customer service here is truly exceptional.
The store manager is absolutely amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and always makes sure my daughters and I leave happy. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and their team.
I also have to give a special shoutout to Lizzie! She is such a sweetheart and is always so kind to my girls. We’re in Five Below pretty often, and every single time she sees us, she greets us with a smile and checks in to see if we need help finding anything. It’s employees like her who make us want to keep coming back.
The entire staff deserves recognition for providing outstanding customer service. They’re always patient, helpful, and professional, even when dealing with difficult situations. I’ve unfortunately witnessed customers being aggressive toward employees over something as simple as Squishys, and I truly don’t understand it. The Five Below team handles these situations with grace and kindness. It’s free to be kind, and these employees absolutely deserve the same respect they show every customer.
