“A few days after purchasing an item through their website, I received a telephone call from Sports Depot stating that they did not have the item in stock, an older model of Russell youth football pants. They had the same pant in a size small and size large, but I needed a size medium. After requesting a refund to my credit card, the gentleman with whom I was speaking (possibly the manager/owner) asked me if I want the smaller and larger sized pants free of charge. I was surprised to say the least. The gentleman agreed to credit my account and send me two pair of youth football pants. He didn't have to do that. While it was a brief phone call, it was proof to me that their are definitely some customer service-oriented businesses still out there. It was my first experience with Sports Depot, but I fully intend to reach out to the company if I need to make a sporting goods purchase in the future. Thank you Sports Depot.”

“My family and I came to make a return from an online purchase my older son made for me for my birthday. We had the pleasure of meeting Datrell, a sales associate, and he exceeded our expectations. He saw and understood each of our needs based on our field of work, even my youngest son, who has two different-sized feet. “I usually never write reviews for products, but this time I cannot stay silent. This backpack has been with me through a war, through endless travels, through years of daily work, and it still looks almost new. It is not just a backpack for me it has carried my life.
When the war in Ukraine started, I had this backpack with me. I packed it with everything I could, carried it across borders, placed it on the ground, dragged it everywhere. It was heavy, filled with laptops, cameras, lenses, clothes and yet it never failed me. It survived every crossing, every rough road, every move.
Before the war, I had already used it every single day for work as a content creator. I carried my laptop, cameras, and lenses nonstop. Later, I lived in different countries with it, and eventually moved to the United States. Even here, it has been with me through more than ten moves, countless trips, and every single workday!!!

“5 stars across the board here. Breakwater is a great shop right next to the train down the street from the jetty at Beach 67. Shop owner is super nice, hooked me up with a wetsuit rental that came right off the rack. They also let me use the restroom and watched my items while surfing. When I came back to return, they rounded down to charge me for less time than I actually spent on the water. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back if I'm on the east coast again!”

“Great for kayak and SUP rentals as Manhasset Bay is protected from larger waves and is a no wake zone. Great fishing for striped bass and bluefish.
The shop also has a great variety of fishing equipment and bait alongside clothing and boating gear.
Most importantly the owner, John, is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and always has great insights.”
“I asked for a racquet around noon to see if it was in stock and they promptly got back to me. My wife and I were planning to play at 2:30pm that day. I thought, “I wish I could have the new racquet strung and gripped.” Wish came true. They were so thoughtful and told me the racket would be ready at 2pm. Not only that, I didn’t even pay for anything until pickup. The guy who strung and gripped (yes I’m OCD like that) my racket did an absolutely perfect 2 knot job and immaculate, pixel perfect tacky grip. Best retail and customer experience ever. I’m shopping here from now on.”

“Always a pleasurable shopping experience at this store. Attractive, clean, well-organized. Helpful floor staff, if you need assistance, but no sales pressure -- shop at your own pace. Courteous help at check-out. Comfortable seating, in center of store, for try-on. Good selection for women, men, and children, with top, popular name brands. I especially like the BOGO, for 1/2 price off the second pair, on the holiday weekends. An added bonus is good parking in the (attractive) parking lot, with beautiful trees and landscaping. Other good stores, like Trader Joes, in this complex, too.”
