“I really like this location because they have the best weekend classes. I think the gym can benefit from some tweaks. First, it isn't obvious where everything is at (lockers, bathrooms, exits). I would add signs pointing towards them. The classes are generally in a very small yoga room. Hopefully plans are in scope to expand it a bit. Otherwise, really great place”

“Completely changed the shape of my body. I did personal training at equinox for years and I wasn't seeing results. They told me it was the natural shape of my body, I knew it wasn't because of how my body looked for the 27 years before that. Form50 got me back to feeling like myself again. The program is always challenging and there are plenty of ways to modify. I can't believe how knowledgeable each instructor is, you're in great hands with anyone. The energy, music and program have never let me down - even after 2 years. Thank you form50!”

“I can hardly believe it, I've finally found the perfect workout class studio that also happens to be a woman-owned small business (bonus!). The instructors are fantastic. The classes themselves are low impact so I never feel like I am going to injure myself even though I am working hard. Each workout move in class is given many options to fit all abilities. I've come to trust the workout system they have and know that if I keep sticking with it I'll continue to gain strength and flexibility.
The studio space is gorgeous and so thoughtfully put together. It feels lux and like home at the same time. The staff and the others (mostly women) working out are friendly and this is a place where one could meet friends, or at least create a support circle. It feels nice being recognized by others in class.
As a side note, a Trader Joe's is just steps away, which is a post class highlight for me, as I don't live near one.”

“Just started personal training here and already seeing great results in the past three weeks! Jared, my trainer, is very professional and flexible with scheduling, and knowledgeable and patient in planning the best exercises for my goals and ensuring I’m using the right form doing them. The gym also has a very friendly, open, and intimate atmosphere.”

“I have been wanting to get to the gym for a while now and finally decided to join Rock Fitness since it is so close to where I live. I’ve only had a tour and orientation, but I’m already looking forward to going back. The place is very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s been a great experience so far.”
“Been going for a year and love it! Staff is super nice, have never had a problem with it being too crowded to get a workout in. Thankful to have a great neighborhood gym nearby!”
“10/10 recommend Synergy! A smaller gym that really is more of a community. Tons of equipment and very clean. The staff is amazing - Ray (the manager) is always so attentive and kind. I am going to miss this place so much! Always the highlight of my day!”

“I highly recommend Ms. Allison enough as a swim instructor. My 4-year-old son started lessons with her a few months ago, and the progress he’s made is incredible. She’s warm, patient, and has such a gentle way with young kids, making them feel comfortable right from the start.
During each 30-minute lesson, she’s fully focused on the kids, and it’s clear how much she cares about helping them succeed. Thanks to her guidance, my son now floats on his own and has totally overcome his fear of water. He actually loves swimming now and can’t wait for his lesson every week. Ms. Allison has been a true gift for us!”

“My home CrossFit gym <3 haven’t been in awhile. My partner and I both go here. Friendly for everybody. A priest, monk, and a rabbi could walk in for a CrossFit class and walk out without any problems- and that’s coming from a catholic and her gay sister {and her partner Shannon who said this place is her family who’s a nurse.} My point is this place is very inclusive for everyone, and is really about including everyone, and I mean everyone everyone. And I’d feel safe bringing family members or even my own kids here. Loved my experience here and it’s very secure. Getting in touch with them can be difficult via phone call but they reach out via text message immediately so it’s well worth the wait. The memberships are up there, but if you’re a full fledged crossfitter, you’d rather by a membership here than anywhere else. I play soccer in New York City, and on Long Island and My partner is a Police officer for the city, as well as family- and a lot of members in this gym are former military or Law enforcement or fire department members who are non-discriminatory and extremely friendly. One of the best experiences I’ve had in awhile. Worth every single dime, and worth the wait. We travel from Long Island to come here, and it’s worth it. Great job guys :) looking forward to come in soon.”
“This Orange Theory location is excellent! Daniela provides outstanding service and always follows up with care, and Coach Grace runs the best classes with amazing workouts, energy, and music. Great team and experience overall!”

“As 2025 comes to an end, I want to give a huge shout out to all the coaches at Orange Theory. (Don’t make me pick my favorite child!). Nick, Connor, Zach, Cat and Jenna are all awesome, each bringing great energy and creating such a fun and supportive atmosphere in the classes. They also have found ways to improve my form, or give me other personal tips which is particularly impressive given the size of the class. I am 56 years old and I have never felt stronger in my life. Thank you guys!!”

“Prince, Jen, Chris, and all the Trooper Coaches are one of a kind leadership team in fitness. They know you by name, they pay attention the whole class to your form, and offer UNIQUE classes. Also, they have built a community like I've never seen and throughout my fitness journey I've come back every time for over decade now. You will be sore but you will have the best workout of your life and want to come back.”
“I am a virtual client/member of Kfit gym and it has been the best decision I've made for myself in a very long time. The classes are challenging and engaging and the schedule is more than accommodating. More importantly, the coaches are AMAZING. The kindness, support and genuine concern for my wellbeing is unparalleled, especially since I have never met any of them in person. Karina and her team have made me feel a part of this community even from far away (I'm about an hour from the actual gym). I could not be happier or more grateful to have found Kfit.”
“I love this kickboxing place. It is clean and there’s enough space. Instructors are qualified, passionate and motivational. One of my favorite trainers is Bella! Her workouts are challenging yet fun. They are never the same because she always creates new ones each session. For my ADHD girlies, 10/10.”

“While visiting Brooklyn last week from Texas, my daughter encouraged me to go with her to this gym that she raves about. It was easy to see why she enjoys this gym! I went to 2 classes - one on 5/15 with Mike and one on 5/16 with Anwar, and both classes were equally killers and motivating at the same time! Both instructors are excellent, and they showed me how to modify the exercises to be able to complete them. Highly recommend this place regardless of your age!”
“I definitely recommend anyone who is willing to learn how to box to come down to Boxingology. They have some of the Best Trainers that’s down to earth & is willing to go all out if you are dedicated enough.”
“Rachel is the best! I was originally recommended to try her by my chiropractor and I’ve been seeing her for years. Honestly now I’m spoiled—it’s hard to get a massage when I travel—it’s never as good as a massage from Rachel.”

“Glenn is a great coach! Funny personality that makes you feel comfortable coming to class every time. He is very flexible with the workouts. I’m a beginner and he always works with me to make the workouts work for me. He also challenges me when I complain of not wanting to do it. (I need that!) lol He kicked my ass today after a month and change of no working out but it feels good! Oh! And I love his reggaeton music playlist! Makes the workout even better! :)”

“With roots from one of the first CrossFit affiliates in NYC, this space is exactly what you want in a box.
The coaches do well to accommodate all levels, with members ranging from beginner to regional games athletes. The space isn’t huge though you don’t really feel it as classes are capped. Well worth checking out if just for the friendly community.
Overall, best option in the neighborhood.”
“Best boutique fitness studio in this neighborhood - highly recommend! Convenient location, easy registration and check-in, modern interior decor with beautiful natural light flooding the studio, high-end finishes and most importantly: an all-star crew of instructors and staff! This studio offers a perfectly balanced curriculum and the members can choose from a variety of barre, dance/cardio and yoga classes throughout the day. Great little hidden gem in the UES! I started trying it out with their first-timer promotion for two weeks and have been addicted ever since! As a hardcore barre practitioner, I’ve frequented all major studios all over Manhattan and this one definitely tops my list! You’ll be noticeably lighter, leaner and stronger after just a couple of classes - amazing results!”

“I visited the neighborhood, and decided to drop in. Coach Fernando was excellent, with a great attitude and super helpful tips.
I'll definitely come back there on my next visit.”
“I live within the vicinity of this gym and have a membership with this gym for about 1.5 years, so it is definitely more value than anywhere else in the area, at least for my purposes and location. They have all the machines and weights I need, and their hours are quite good. One thing I would add that pay deduct points is that the basement gym sometimes leaks during rainy or snowy seasons and is closed somewhere from 11PM - 12AM based on the discretion of the building staff. You could always choose to park outside though. Additionally, what could make this place even better for me is opening 24/7, but I understand why they're not as nobody sane really goes from 2AM to 6AM.”
