“The review I wish I had before going:
Pretty easy to navigate as a tourist. Walkable from my hotel. I took a reusable grocery bag full of laundry and it was all able to fit in the smallest washing machine. Cost was $3.59?? I can't remember, but it was $3 and change for ~26 minutes. You do need a laundry card that you buy from a machine there (cash only), the card itself costs $1 and is reusable/reloadable. They sell detergent, softener, and dryer sheets for cash only. I didn't bring much cash because I didn't know. Luckily I had enough. And they don't tax those products. I got a small bottle of gain ($2.50) and 4 dryer sheets ($1) for $3.50. I had a little trouble with starting the washing machine, the attendant could see me from the window and gave me instructions. Another patron was nice enough to help me too. They have, I believe, 3 sizes of dryers. I used a medium because I didn't see the smaller one in time, someone snagged it right as I noticed. The dryer was .40 and gives you 8 minutes on high. I ran the dryer twice, clothes were 99% dry, but it wasn't a big enough deal to run it a 3rd time. Overall I recommend this place.”
“$18 hemming charge per pair of pants without lining? Not anymore...
I recently discovered Greenway Village Dry Cleaners in Francis Lewis, Bayside and was pleasantly surprised to find they only charge $10 for hemming a pair of pants without lining. This is a great deal compared to other dry cleaners in the area.
Highly recommended for this service. Tailor was very nice too.”

“I started going to this dry cleaner in the summer of 2023 and I'm extremely impressed with the quality, cost, and customer service.
I've brought hats, shirts, sneakers, seat covers, etc with oil, blood, dirt, grass, sauce on them and they've made these items look brand new!
The prices are reasonable especially for the quality.
The staff keeps to themselves but are friendly and the owner(s) are extremely friendly and reasonable, as well.
Their standard turnaround time may be a little too slow for most people so if you need something by a specific day, I definitely suggest that you let them know.
They accept Apple Pay (which is a plus for people, like me, who are on the go) and delivery.”

“I’ve used Fold NY’s home drop-off and pick-up service at least 10 times this year. The laundry team consistently follows instructions and does a great job overall. Last month, there was an unfortunate incident where the Uber delivery driver misplaced our clothes. Whitney from Fold NY responded promptly and resolved the issue by issuing a refund for the lost items. We felt well taken care of and will definitely continue using their service.”

“I was really impressed with how clean and well maintained this laundromat is. At first I was a bit put off by the cost but then I realized I was hemming and hawing over 50 cents more per load than I'm used to ($3.25 vs $2.75) and you know what, laundromat owners have to make a living too. Especially considering someone is doing a commendable job of keeping all surfaces shiny and detergent-free. There was this extremely sweet employee who noticed before even I did that my washer wasn't running, and she hauled her tiny self over the unit just to properly plug it in. I don't know yet how busy this laundromat gets on weekends, but my weekday experience was very pleasant and hassle-free. - machines are new and the store is very clean - it's $3.25 for 32 minutes of wash, and $3 for 28 minutes - last wash is at 7:30 pm - laundromat closes at 9:00 pm - quiet on weekdays after work (6:30pm and on) - not a big deal but it's worth knowing that there's no bathroom, WiFi, or seating. Although you could maybe balance yourself on one of those rolling carts. - the change machine only accepts $1 and $5 bills so plan accordingly. The owner did give me two $5 bills for my $10, so it most likely won't be an issue if you don't have those specific bills. - a quarter gets you 6 minutes of drying time (what??? I'm used to 8, but I guess I'll live.) Watch out for the birdies and laundro-cat because they're adorable!”
