11 Franklin Ave, Franklin SquareThis is probably my new go to brunch spot on Long Island! When my family and I visited, we were warmly greeted by the staff here. We loved how the menu items had a unique twist to traditional brunch food. I ordered the Baklava Butter Crumble Pancakes and loved how fluffy they were. Without the syrup it already had the prefect level of sweetness. I also tried some of the Biscuits & Crazee and The Spartan omelette. The gravy was the perfect consistency and the omelette tasted very fresh though it was smaller compared to other diners. There is a good amount of seating inside which made the atmosphere feel relaxed while we were enjoying our meal.

761 Hempstead Turnpike, Franklin SquareFirst visited in the mid-1990's, when a bagel at 4:00 AM was exactly what was needed to finish the night. Now, a visit to the area must include a stop by A&S for a breakfast sandwich, coffee, and a dozen or two bagels to take home. A great variety of fresh bagels made in-house, any time of day or night.
