“Usually whenever I go there I take someone with me who can't refuse to go inside. Even if I am being driven by the taxi from work, my regular driver wants to go too. Try not to miss out on the natural food arrangements and isles of choice items .They even cook in the back offering takeout. They used to have seating and but now that that's gone, the chef there is still cooking up great natural food menus.”

“Rockland Kosher is essentially the one supermarket I keep on coming back to. I like certain things about other grocery stores in Monsey and I definitely shop around. But at the end of the day, or month, Rockland is where I do most of my shopping. Freshest fruits and vegetables at amazing prices, love their bakery (prices a bit steep though) top notch meats and meat variety, lots of sales, plus they have pretty much anything you need home wise. Light bulbs, plumbing supplies, decorations, etc. All around amazing supermarket.”

“I’ve tried many delis in Peekskill and this is the best one downtown. Portions are good for the price and the staff are all very friendly. There’s also a wide selection of drinks and snacks if you want to stop by for something really quickly.The one thing I’d point out is that they don’t get enough business to have someone always manning the deli counter. This means it’s a little unclear how to order, and you need to just stand around awkwardly until someone takes your order.”

“This has a big variety of Hispanic foods. Very easy to get in and out. They have a hot deli but I've never used it. Nice produce! The ice cream freezers have sometimes had a problem of freezer burn or melting and refreezing. Check your products. My ice cream sandwiches were quite obviously thawed and refrozen. Surprisingly a lot of products for a small store. Always clean and well-stocked. Good prices.”

“Their rare roast beef, alone, is worth the trip. Made in house and almost always super rare. Incredibly tasty and thinly sliced, it's like a little slice of meat heaven. The olive selection is outstanding. Mix and match your favorites. The place isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. Service is always friendly. Food is mostly buffet style but can feature amazing grilled meats, steak, plantains, roasted beets etc. They give free home made hot sauce that is very flavorful & not too spicy, it's soooooo good!
