“The Appalachian Market is a staple of Putnam County. The sandwiches are elite, specially the breakfast sandwiches, which can't be compared to any yuppie cold spring bed and breakfast. Sure sometimes the workers are short with you but they deal with serving a very rude, misguided, and abrasive type of New Yorker that resides in the Garrison or Cold Spring area and thinks they are way more important then they actually are. Thankful for this deli”

“A regular gas station with easy on, easy off. Bath rooms are clean. There are space for pets to take a break, and some picnic tables for eating. There are 12 pumps, so no waiting if you need gas. There is also a well-stocked convenience mart.”
“I shop here daily, the prices are good, either the same price as most other grocery stores or less. The staff is kind and friendly, but the produce could be better in terms of fruits and vegetables as sometimes they are either moldy or mushy. Overall it is a good store to shop for goods and necessities.”
“They always do an excellent job with the car repairs on our VW diesel, and the workers are super nice and friendly. I have 3 young kids I often have to bring along, and they actually love coming to the waiting area as there are little games and things there for them to do, and Yasmin is always so nice to them. I highly recommend coming here!”

“I recently came into the North Plank Rd. store. I needed to find a pad lock. Kelly asked me if she could help me. She located and walked me straight to the pad locks. She then rang me up, very pleasant, helpful & courteous. It's hard to find that level of professionalism these days. I will back. The store is also very well put together.”

“I haven't used Mobil for years. Switched to Sunoco because there were no Exxon stations in the area. One is entitled to disagree, but my cars drive better on Exxon or Sunoco gas. But no, I have not tried the others. Only, I will avoid Mobil.”

“Not too bad considering it’s a fully automatic car wash. It’s only $8 and does a good job for the most part. The dryer at the end of the wash actually works really well and is really powerful. There are some others in the area that don’t clean as well so I tend to come back to this location. I usually get out and do some spot cleaning afterwards.”

“I love this place. I drive back and forth between New Haven and western Pennsylvania all the time, and this is the one place I always want to stop at every time during my trip. They have the best prepared deli items already made waiting cold and delicious for you. And they have the best hot sandwiches and prepared deli items in the New York style deli section area being made hot and fresh by all the fantastic really friendly nice staff. It's the greatest roadside gas station deli combo mix that's ever been placed on the path between New Haven and Erie. Highly recommended!!”

Employees are so nice and they have a very large variety of food (hot and cold) and salads.Management changed no long time a go, but no body noticed because all employees still working there and the food still having the same quality and flavor.All types of sodas, beer, coffee and many more to drink.In a few words, you can find there all you need for a breakfast, lunch or for your reunion at home with friends to watch any sport on the weekends.”

“Been using Rite Aid for several months. While not certain if they have an automated system, found them utterly unreliable with CVS. Would drive there and nothing ready, told my fault, and to call dr. Fir third time, or insurance. Rite Aid, wow! Even without automation (may have it) when one shows up, the order is ready! The pharmacist polite, not overly aggressive in their jobs, asking personal questions in front of a giant line. They understand service, it's quiet, and no fuss, or people melting down in the parking lot. Have seen this at both Walmart and CVS. Save your time for boutique pharmacy that know you and care personally, or find a good National chain like Rite Aid.”

I read some reviews that are negative and it comical… the nerve of a business allowing staff to take a lunch break, oh and posting signs indicating they do that and the times, additionally every time you call there is a recording indicating the break time closure! Not to mention, if the website and sign on the door indicate walk ins welcome for Covid shots… why did you call?? Based on my interaction with the staff I’ll just guess that the staff member said if you make a appointment online you ll guarantee no waiting when you come in the life saving vaccine.”

“The day before my birthday we were supposed to have flooding in our area that affected my flight and I had to change it to early the following morning. I had to print my parking pass or I couldn’t park and I didn’t have a printer. Jason had never used the printer before and was having problems trying to print my document. Jason did not give up despite the printer kept giving an error code. He was determined understanding and sympathetic at how desperately I needed to have this document ASAP. I left with my document in hand and he wished me a happy birthday. Great customer service from this young man!”

“Since sal skrewed over Jack at Lou's corner store, this place has been a salvation for overnight people, partygoers, bar patrons, etc.. Mother then the local diners, this us the place to go for late night fare, I have had Paninni's there at 2 am!! Sometimes it gets banging in there so be patient it's worth it!! Sandwiches, salads, roasted veg. Etc... Full menu available there. No I do not know the owner or work there , I can tell you the ace is clean, and the 2 best Roast beef heroes I've had in my life were from here. Yes, you can keep Rockys in millwood, this was roast beef the way the customer wants it. And 8 bucks!!! Smothered in spinach loaded with Garlic!!!”

“I got a turkey & cheddar with lettuce tomato onion mayo mustard salt and pepper on a roll -Your typical deli sammy.It was a fatty sandwich that was really delicious! This place was busy on a Sunday afternoon, but it did not take long for me to get my lunch.I will definitely eat here again when I am in the area for another hike.”
