“Stopped here along an AT section hike. Was able to get a good resupply for a few days and was affordable. Just remember to grab a hand cart (black basket) that they have stashed if you are grabbing a lot of items. Also, ordered a chicken parm and fries which was pretty good. Service was friendly and expedient! Tables outside were nice to chill for a bit.”

“The Appalachian Market is a staple of Putnam County. The sandwiches are elite, specially the breakfast sandwiches, which can't be compared to any yuppie cold spring bed and breakfast. Sure sometimes the workers are short with you but they deal with serving a very rude, misguided, and abrasive type of New Yorker that resides in the Garrison or Cold Spring area and thinks they are way more important then they actually are. Thankful for this deli”
