“This is a late review- however, when doing my kitchen renovation last year, i quickly realized the only place in Rochester, to purchase a wolf oven, is charlotte appliance. I had a wonderful experience. Rich, my sales person kept me updated regarding my order- and they even held onto the oven until renovations were at the point of instillation.They did an excellent job installing the oven and the installers were extremely careful and respectful of my home.”

He was extremely patient, very professional, resourceful and very kind to not only recommend the correct hinges for my project but also helped put the wood planks together for me. “Came here to check out their selection of window blinds and to see how they actually work. They had a nice set up with a few different models to try out. Found out they offer more colors on line than in the store. They are able to customs cut the blinds in store if needed. Good to know! The store has so many home items and a fair price. I was checking out their garden, hardware and carpet areas. Definitely a great place to shop when updating your home or yard. Staff was very friendly and greeted me more than one occasion. Located on west ridge road, parking lot was busy but it was a Saturday...”

“I don't come to this location often, only because it isn't that close to home and we are the kinda people that start a task and have to go shopping while the house is basically torn a part. I always get a little lost at first, because I am a Lowe's shopper by default. The last time I was in here, I got great assistance from an employee! He helped me find potting soil and even carried it to a cart for me. He was fantastic! I really appreciate the self check out in this store. Spacious and it is quick and easy to use. Definitely a nice hardware store.”
“went on 1-7-2024 had Joreen for a sales person who was very helpful, friendly and did a great job paying attention to every detail in the process. I bought a Samsung Dryer for $397 that was on sale for $500 off, with free delivery on 1-8-2024. They kept me informed of the delivery every step of the way, you can even keep track of the truck with the link they send you, the driver Named Austin had it here 9:30 am and was very polite and courteous. This is my 4th purchase from Orville's and they have always been spot on and positive!”

“Had a great experience at Orvilles here in Greece NY, I was met by a friendly Salesman named Brian, as soon as I walked through the door. BRIAN worked with me from start to finish I was looking to by a refrigerator and within a half hour I purchased one, from their scratch and dent section which is extensive to say the least as the kind of refrigerator I was looking for new was not in stock. I would recommend coming here as they did everything they could to get my business.. and have next day delivery, which is a huge plus considering were in a pandemic”

“It can be hard to get a pickup truck when you want it as not all stores may have one available. You can reserve one only at the Henrietta store, otherwise it's first come, first served. I've had reservations canceled on me a couple of times, which is really annoying if you've lined up hired help for your job. Depending on which store you rent from, you may get an older or newer truck. It can be hit or miss. So far I've hired from the Greece, Irondequoit and Henrietta stores. Make sure you have your driver ID and insurance card with you when you go or they will not rent a truck or to you.”
“I went to Best Buy to pick up an Amazon Fire Stick so I could watch the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. (My favorite two teams are the Green Bay Packers and whoever is playing Da Bears.) This used to be simpler - there was a Fire Stick. Now there's Fire Stick Lite, Fire Stick, Fire Stick 4k...so I went looking for a Blue Shirt. Several were back in home theater, holding a caucus of some kind. I was getting a little perturbed when I approached a very large Blue Shirt that looked like he could have been a defensive lineman. He asked if I needed help and I replied, "You look like a man who knows everything there is to know about Amazon Fire Sticks. That's what I need!" He nodded, and immediately solved the mysteries. I was remiss in not paying attention to his name badge, too. I selected my Fire Stick and headed for the register - game time was approaching! I got to the apartment, opened the box (I've done this installation before, at home) and plugged in everything. I powered everything up, the Fire Stick splash screen did its little dance, and...oh, oh. The dreaded screen that says, "Having trouble locating the remote. Press and hold the (icon - home) for 10 seconds. I did. No response. Did it again. Nothing. The screen suggested holding the remote closer to the Fire Stick. I stood behind the TV and held the remote right next to the blasted Fire Stick. Nuthin'. Okay, maybe the included batteries are bad, so I switched to new ones. Did the same dance - nothing. Nada. Gnorscht. Obviously, the remote was bad and there is no workaround. So, I boxed the whole thing up again and watched the game on my cell phone - a far cry from a 50" hi-def television. I returned the Fire Stick to Best Buy today and told the customer service rep it didn't work, expecting to recite the entire tale of woe I spelled out for you two paragraphs ago. Nope. No questions asked. The credit should appear on my credit card any minute now. Best Buy has always been good to me back home, I expected nothing less in ROC and they lived up to the Best Buy reputation. Thanks, Blue Shirts! Who was that masked man? I don't know but I wanted to thank him!”
