“We are very pleased with our recent purchase of a stove and refrigerator from Charlotte. Our salesperson, Anthony Jr., was knowledgeable, friendly,, and attentive to our needs. We were especially concerned because we were replacing some build-in units, and site modifications would be needed. These were handled expertly by Rob, so that the stove and fridge would slide in perfectly. Mike and Rick made the delivery and installation. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous, and politely answered all our questions. We were in good hands from start to finish!”

“I had one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had at Home Depot, thanks to Jon.

Jon went above and beyond to help me with lumber for a pantry shelving project. He took the time to make sure every board I purchased was perfectly straight, helped cut everything to size, and carefully checked his measurements trusting his experience, but still verifying to ensure it was right.

What stood out even more was how he handled constant interruptions. Multiple customers stopped him with questions while he was helping me, and he assisted every single person with patience, kindness, and a genuine smile.

Jon is in his 80s, and his work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in doing things right are truly impressive. Every time I look at the pantry shelves I’m installing, I’ll remember what a positive experience it was turning a vision into reality with his help.

Home Depot is lucky to have him.”

“I recently bought myself a dryer because my old one was squeaking when it would run & was on its way out as it needed multiple runs to dry a load. The seller in the store Christopher was fairly friendly & easy to work with but delivery took longer than I was originally told when I first started looking at buying one. I was told it could be delivered within 1-2 days after purchased. Except I waited a week before first delivery day was open. LIE NIMBER 1…but Ok not a huge problem -mine still works right ? Then delivery day comes, the window of delivery given was between 1230-230p mine didn’t come until 245, ok again no big deal not that far off , except the delivery guy was short & rushed, he had a young/child with him as his partner for delivering (again no big deal could be to get early experience…) I was also told when I purchased the new one, that the hosing /vent would be replaced & when I asked the delivery guy (the adult) about the hosing & that he was going to replace? He said oh “no” that my “hosing is way too long, they only replace up to 8feet” & that I’d “have to hire a hvac company to reinstall vent hosing to be snug to ceiling”very short with responses & almost annoyed. I don’t have a man in my life or this house who can do things; I’m a single mom of 3 kids. I have to pay people or learn to do things myself … buying a new dryer I thought & was told they would take care of the loose hosing to my dryer. NOPE LIE NUMBER 2. Then he leaves without even saying everything is set etc. he had me sign but was then was going to check the vet blowing outside (they run dryer for 40 mins after installation to burn oils apparently) but he went out to check the vent & never came back. Just left. Apparently we were the last stop of day so he was eager to leave except I paid just as much as everyone else & deserve a good delivery experience, not have it rushed. I used dryer once to dry my newborns load (small load/small clothes) & it dried fine, I ran it a second time with another small load of whites & it didn’t dry, there is a code on dryer “d80” when I look up what this code means it says there is a blockage somewhere of 80% or more & could be a fire hazard so it shuts off. Odd when the delivery guy was supposed replace hosing & check the airflow & never came back inside. I called Orville’s & was transferred 4 times & everytime nobody knew who I was or what department I needed … so I repeated my issues 4 times & finally the lady tells em tomorrow delivery can stop by & take a look. So here I sit & wait with no dryer & a house of 3 kids. I need a working dryer & washer with a house full of kids& dogs … unbelievable. Not happy at all. & a shame bc I’m a first time customer !! You’d think they would want to set the bar high with their first time customers but nope. Been a headache since scheduling delivery. Orville’s dropped the ball on me !!! Very disappointed & not happy right now

UPDATE!!!!!!!! :
They scheduled delivery service technician to stop by & “look at the issue” I was having. August was his name this time & he totally rectified the situation. My dryer is so far working as it should & don’t suspect having issues going forward with dryer or vent-hosing.. Thank you August!!!”

“As an HVAC contractor, Johnstone Supply has been an essential part of my business. Their customer service is solid and professional. Sometimes you need to wait a bit until a salesperson is available, but once they are, everything gets resolved quickly and efficiently — no runaround, no excuses, just solutions.

Their online interface and product catalog are excellent and easy to navigate. In 99% of cases they have the parts I need for furnace and air conditioning repairs in stock, which saves a tremendous amount of time on service calls. Most of my testing and diagnostic tools are purchased here as well — prices are fair, and equipment is reliable.

Johnstone also provides training and technical classes for contractors, which I really value. It shows they care not only about selling products, but about supporting proper installation and long-term service. Overall, this is a trustworthy supplier with great resources for HVAC professionals. I am pleased to work with them.”
