“By far the best hobby shop around NYC, has been for ages, not many left. Amazing selection of rc cars, planes, boats, model trains and loads of diecast cars of all makes, models and sizes.
Worth the trip, staff are also super friendly and helpful.”

“The owners know all their products and are very experienced with importing merchandise that otherwise might be difficult to attain here in the States. From Transformers to Gundam, from Power Rangers to Ultraman, from One Piece to Jujutsu Kaisen, they’ve quite literally have it all. My brother and I will be frequenting this spot quite a lot in the near future and I hope anybody that is even remotely interested in shopping collectibles or hobby items that you will give this place a chance and fall in love with the atmosphere as did my brother and I!!”
“Kidz toys has a delicious Swedish candy bar. The candy was so fresh and delicous. I brought some home to my family and they all loved it. Also the toy selection is amazing. They carry things you don’t find anywhere else.”

“On one of the worst days of my life where my son was just out of control - two women who work at this store - Vickie and Stephanie showed me kindness and compassion when most people just judge and ridicule . “Nice little bookstore, not an enormous selection, but they have a lot of current books, and some best sellers, and you can always ask them to get the book you're looking for. I usually find at least one book I'm interested in. Good children's section in the back as well, with cushions for the little ones to sit at and read. The people working there are always very friendly and helpful.”

“No weekend is complete without a run to 5 Below. It's always for something that's needed like a phone charger cord and then I wind up seeing so many other things that I feel like I must have. This location is usually pretty well stocked and the staff is friendly. Every once in a while they're short handed up front but they seem to make it work. On this trip I got pillows and a throw for my guest bedroom because they were super cute and affordable. I also bought another bookcase/organizer because I used one of theirs for my pop up shop set up and it works really great. Even though some things are more than $5 most of my items were actually $5. If you have a very small child, I'm warning you they have lots of cute toys and a lot of candy especially near the checkout so either prep them before you go in or don't bring them.”

Just heard of them today and went, loved the experience the gentlemen went above and beyond to help me find a charger for my revo 3.3 after I looked everywhere and no luck. and also got me a quart of fuel for a good price. Came all the way from Bronx New York costumer 4L now!”

The woman in the store (sorry, but I never got your name) was extremely helpful and friendly. I was able to get gifts for both and I feel confident that the girls will enjoy them. This will now be my go-to store whenever I need to purchase toys.”
“Floral park is tiny, but cute and cozy. Definitely helps narrow down your selection. Store is always organized and clean. Employee Alesia is hands down the best. She is very knowledgeable and helpful! Very much recommend her. Her wrapping is excellent. Mattys is worth the money. We love it there!”
“Don't be fooled by the seemingly small storefront - this toy store has so much selection inside and so neatly organized. My kids and I were warmly greeted upon entering and offered help. “What an awesome toy store! I was visiting family in Long Island for a few days when my aunt and I went shopping for Christmas. There was a great variety of options and all of the employees were so lovely, especially Morgan! She helped my aunt and I figure out what to get my siblings and cousins for Christmas and she was very fun to talk to. There hasn’t been a toy store in person that I’ve seen in a while like this one and I recommend to anyone in the area for sure.”
“I visit Miller's every time I need a gift for a younger person. In a world of online shopping NOTHING beats walking into Millers and picking out a special gift that you will not find anywhere else! Their clothing, shoes, toys, infant section, educational items, bicycles are top notch! Not to mention, their customer service cannot be compared to any other business. Once again, I went to Millers to pick up a special baby gift. After my selection {of beautiful baby clothes/blanket/books/soft dolls}, Nadine offered to package, wrap AND mail out the gift for me! “I was there on Thurs, Jan 8. In the afternoon. I was just buying a few things. And the man managing the registers (a young, tall, black man. I'm describing him so he gets credit.) was such a kind, nice, courteous. guy. Just one of those people with good energy about them. I wish stores knew more how important it is for people at check out to be friendly to customers...and what a difference it makes. They don't have to be over friendly, but some people that check out, don't even acknowledge you. It's just as important as the product and price point. It's your experience at the store.”

“Visited to get my son's 1st birthday bear and it was such a joyful experience! Based on some past reviews, I went having low expectations but the staff was so wonderful—especially Bee who was the main person who helped us stuff our boy's bear. There was another family who was there for their child's first birthday bear as well and the staff did a little shop announcement for both the kids which was very wholesome and sweet. They were also kind enough to help us take some pictures afterwards as well. We went for the bear, but of course couldn't leave without splurging for extra outfits! This was my first time ever at a BAB so I was pleasantly surprised, funto browse and a great experience.”

“KJ’s corner is truly what gives small businesses their good rep. not only is it a nice clean one-stop-shop, but also super local and friendly too. Their variety of options on balloons is what really caught my eye. Karli has the talent of bringing a vision to life (which can be hard to come across these days). Also a huge plus is seeing the cutest dogs while you shop! 10/10 would recommend coming here, and I will most definetely be coming back for all my gift and balloon needs !!!”
