“I try not to go anywhere else for my building/home improvement supplies if I don't have to. The Manager Mike S. is the absolute best! He always goes above and beyond, answering an infinite amount of questions and advising me on every meticulous detail of all my home improvement needs! If I bring him a concept with no idea of where to even start, he not only compiles the list of supplies for me to complete it with, but also comes up with an efficient step by step process to bring my project ideas to life! (Or he refers me to a reliable source that can do it for me when he knows I'm in way over my head... ? in which case, he will then coordinate with BOTH myself and the contractor I hire thru the entire process, keeping me informed of everything along the way!) And on the rare occasion that any problems arise with any of the products that I purchase from Lenco, he's always got my back and does everything in his power to rectify the situation. I wish he could be my own personal project manager for all my home improvement needs, but sadly he's already taken!! ? Lenco is lucky to have him!”

“I make it a point to shop at Valu for all that they offer and stopped going to the big box stores if Value has it. They are a locally owned family business, that is supportive of the community and they welcome all no matter your political perspective. Weekly sales help round out prices of higher priced items. Purchasing from local owners is great for our community and helps strengthen or community.”

“EDITED: I left a review about their hours being inaccurate, as I had a carpet cleaner rental and came to drop it off when they were closed. They apologized and were very, very nice about it. They even waived the late fee because of this, even though I asked, it was a nice gesture.

“Staff are polite and eager to help. There have never been more than three customers present regardless of the time or weekday. Store is too large for the amount of merchandise stocked. Items are displayed well and priced correctly. Front entrance could be more aesthetically welcoming. Store feels like stepping back in time instead of keeping up with technology and trends. A good location for grabbing paint, caulk, and small hardware.”

“Great service, they were able to provide me with some large pipe extractors that I couldn't find locally. (1" pipe and a 1/2" pipe fitting) much rather support a local business than big box or online. The quality of the extractors they had were far better and larger than what the big box had to offer.”

“North Buffalo Home Depot is amazing in much nicer than the Amherst location that I'm always going to. The staff go above and beyond, and they have yet to fail me. When they know me on a first name basis,that's just what it's about. That quickly made me realize that these guys remember who they are talking to and that they pay attention to their customers. “The best in rental. Edit: To the previous renter with the gas pole pruner, THD does offer many wrenches for any tools that may require adjustment in the field, including the pole pruner. The safety bucket (you declined to take with you) includes a helmet, ear/eye protection, chaps and ADJUSTMENT WRENCH. The tools are quality and safety inspected before EVERY rental and these bolts can easily be adjusted by anyone with a crescent/socket wrench, or even a simple pair of pliers. Chainsaw chains frequently become loose after use so this should not have come as a shock to you. A lack of knowledge and experience on your part apparently equates to a 1 star review for a retailer renting tools as a service for those in need. If you're unsure of what you may need when renting an unfamiliar tool, ask and we'll gladly explain! Maybe just take the safety bucket next time...”

“I was doing some plumbing repairs at home, I have no plumbing experience, so I brought the pieces that I wanted to replace with me and I was staring at the shelves for about 15 minutes, till God sent me an angel named Jennifer! In one minute she looked at me parts, said follow me, grabbed the pieces I needed without even looking, she even cut that one piece to the size I needed! Oh Jennifer is the best!!!!”
