Whether it’s bachelorette party shirts, concert shirts, family reunion shirts, and the latest: total solar eclipse shirts, I am always satisfied. Though they weren’t able to accommodate my *procrastination* in creating a custom eclipse shirt (no fault of their own!), they did have a great shirt already made on their website and delivered 26 of them to my house 12 hours after ordering! “This is the best JC Penney in Rochester, they're always well-stocked with great quality stuff and tons of choices. Easy parking right next to the store. Nice lighting inside the store (unless you're in the petite section, wish the lighting was better there). They still have the cashiers throughout the store as opposed to all at one counter at Eastview, and I like this setup better.”

“I've visited this store a couple times, once when I was pregnant and buying basic baby gear and another yesterday to buy a specific size of clothing for my newborn. The first time I visited, it was easy to get a good haul of gear (for a great price!) and the very sweet staff even showed me how to collapse the pack n play. Yesterday I was struck by how well organized the clothing is. It was easy to find the exact section I needed size-wise, and from there it was organized by type of clothing (onesies, PJs, pants, etc.) then by color. It made it exceedingly simple to find what we needed, which was appreciated since I was carrying a baby on me who might wake up at any moment. Again, I found the prices to be reasonable considering the quality of the items and organization. Will definitely be visiting the next time we need to size up. I haven't tried to sell anything here, so can't say whether that is worthwhile.”

“Well, I had a great experience here yesterday. I loved it. It was like shopping at the mall in the 1980's. Granted, I was there at 12noon on a Tuesday, but it was Dec 3rd. There were people around, but it was relaxing! I thought merchandise selection was really great! I went for a light winter coat and had a lot to choose from - found a perfect one by Docker's. Price was nice at $84, lines were fine, people were nice. I initially explored buying a coat on-line, as I do for many things. But, prices seemed high, like coats at L.L. Bean were running about $160 on sale, and not being able to try on a coat, I know, is a daunting proposition. I thought about Macy's (usually quite expensive), I thought about Target (not a great selection often), I thought about Walmart (quality and style always a question). Finally I decided on my old friend JCPenney. One store, and it was perfect. I also bought a bunch of new Gold Toe socks. And the store was in great shape! Well done to the manager, and staff, or owners - whomever is responsible. It was neat - the way things used to be - and the way it should be. It really changes the shopping experience.”
