“Drive through is narrow!!! This location has always been good to me. Small or no waits and friendly and knowledgeable staff. The location is in an easily accessible and convenient location. The drive in is narrow, but if you fold in your mirrors you are able to get an 250 or 2500 series truck in it.”

“First bad experience I had.I Had stopped to get cash in two certain amounts. Wanted two separate amounts. Because, 1- I Had to pay a bill in a specific amount . The Teller in Guilderland wasn't very friendly. We had a miscommunication and he did apologize. Then there was a period of silence while I waited for my other withdrawal amount. He then said oh I didn't understand you. I finally completed the transaction. Was going to the back entrance looking for a rest room. He exclaimed you can't go out that way across the whole branch. Said I was looking for the restroom, and said there wasn't one for the public to use.I never have a problem going to other branches. They are especially courteous and very friendly service in Johnstown or Gloversville, NY.Still love this bank!”

“We had a very serious issue with our account in which we were sent back and forth over the phone and email with no resolution. We visited the Guilderland branch, after speaking to 5 representatives over the phone and one through email. When we went into the bank we spoke with Jesse A. He was friendly, patient and very understanding. He confirmed what we had been telling the 5 phone and 1 email representatives. While we were not able to get the funds returned during that visit due to the department that handles the transactions not being in, Jesse assured us that he would follow up and contact us the next business day. He was able to make a very stressful situation better for us and made us feel heard. We just want to thank and recognize Jesse for his help! Thank you Jesse!”

They assisted me with everything I wanted to work on and they also called me after my appointment with a quick follow-up to let me know the status of my inquiry. “I have been with trustco for a long time. I even worked for trustco years ago. I have a problem that I hope they will address and fix. I check my account often, sadly and embarrassing though ,sometimes when I know I have money in my checking, I will go grocery shopping and to my surprise, I end up having to put my stuff away due to my card not going through. Then the next morning I will check my account and it will be back to where I knew it should have been the night before. Now I am in the same situation. I have stayed with trustco for this long for a reason. They are more than friendly and I do trust them with my money, for the most part that is. . (jessica at 20 mall is my fav :) so is the teller that trained me her name isn't coming to mind at the moment, sry) I will see tomorrow if I am going to be staying with trustco when I go into my bank. Hopefully they can understand where I am coming from and take away my 35.00 charge I just got today when I should not be in the negative. I stayed with them through my many embarrassments of being declined for no reason at all, I just hope they are really the "home town bank" I believe they are and reverse that charge, As you can see I have given 4 out of the 5 stars, If i'm still a trustco member tomorrow I will be giving the 5 stars. As I stated before, I have dealt with their "glitches" before but never to the point of a 35.00 charge. I really do hope they reverse that. I hear of this new bank that is great all day every day from friends and family but I stay true to trustco. I hope I don't regret that decision, only tomorrow will tell.”
