On the positive side, the application process was fairly straightforward, and the staff were courteous and willing to answer questions when approached”

“I have been banking with Trustco for 30+ years and the one on Crescent Rd for about 15. A few years ago I had several issues with the way the staff responded and assisted so I haven’t gone inside for at least 2 years. Yesterday I had a transaction that required me to go in person and I was very pleasantly surprised! The woman that waited on me and my son was wonderful and I could hear the other gentleman teller helping an older woman next to us. He was also very kind and helpful. Way to go Trustco!!”
“I’ve always had amazing experiences with this bank. The team is consistently friendly, attentive, and quick to resolve any issues that come up. They handle every situation with professionalism and genuine empathy, which really makes a difference. I’ve never felt like just another customer — they make me feel valued and important every single time. Highly recommend!”

“I enjoy banking at the Schaghticoke branch when I am in the area. Dawn, Laurie, and Joe take great care of me and my banking needs. I always receive a hello when I walk in and friendly conversation throughout the transaction. They even call customers they know by name when they walk in. That is an added touch that you don't necessarily get at other branches.”
“I get help without a long wait. Humans actually pick up the phone. Mallory helped me get through an international matter. She was polite and cheerful even as the matter extended after hours on a Friday.”

“On June 22, 2026, I had the pleasure of meeting this Usher Road branch's Notary Public, a young man named Joe. Even though I was not that bank's customer he notarized my 2 documents without fees and was pleasant to boot! I had a good experience at the Usher's Road branch thanks to the staff there, and Joe.”
“Mark Hulbert (Branch Manager) was incredibly helpful when my husband tried to set up a Zelle account to pay for his mother’s home health care. It took a few phone calls and two visits to the bank. Mark was patient and attentive every step of the way. We could not have done it without his help.”
“I always deal with Lue when at Trustco Bank in Halfmoon and he always treats me with kindness and respect. When dealing with transaction he always makes sure to verify with his clients that they are receiving the exact amount of money that they are withdrawing or depositing!”

“Kirsten was helpful in assisting me with a few things & has been wonderful to work with in following up with them. She even called me today to ask about the situation.
All the staff seem lovely. I love the virtual teller! 🤗”
“I have been banking with Branch Manager Daniel Tricozzi for quite some time. Him and his staff have been nothing but stellar. Excellent customer service across the board. Out of all Trustco branches. His is the best in the area. And if your looking for a home mortgage, home equity loan or a refinance, Dan is the best to work with.”
“This place is filled with pleasant people! Every time I do my business here these people are always so joyful and able to joke around with me while getting their job done! They always find something to talk me about whether it’s my job, the weather, life or anything relevant! They make coming to the bank a fun experience rather than just business… Love these folks!”

“Having been a Pioneer customer for over 20 years, I can confidently say that is the best branch I've worked with. Everyone is friendly, they know my name, ask about my family, and have provided me with various services. It really feels like a community bank where people and their experiences matter.”
