The Colgate Inn is a hotel with a perfect and great location close to Colgate University, making it easy to get everywhere by walking or driving. The rooms are nice, spacious, and lovely, though one minor note mentioned a slow-draining sink and a room could have used a fridge. The staff is consistently highlighted as wonderful, friendly, helpful, sweet, smart, professional, kind, and attentive. A particular staff member at the reception desk receives frequent praise for being fantastic, amazing, pleasant, and going above and beyond, offering valuable information and taking great care of guests. The on-site tavern serves excellent and tasty food, providing a nice place to have a few beers to finish the day. Special touches like after-dinner s'mores are also offered. The overall experience is highly recommended for a pleasurable and memorable stay in the Hamilton area, suitable for family reunions or university visits.

The hotel has a great location close to Colgate. The staff was wonderful, especially Ruth. She was great with the girls staying there for camps and made sure they were taken care of!
The rooms were very nice, but could have used a fridge. Would definitely stay here again!

My family had a very pleasurable stay at the Colgate Inn. Our stay was made special by the staff, namely Ruth, a receptionist who was always ready to greet us with a smile and to ask how our day was going. We would recommend to stay at the Colgate Inn if you have to stay in the Hamilton area!
