“I had an Rx for my daughter that was apparently no longer used. The initial pharmacist (did not get her name) informed me of this (other pharmacists just told me they couldn't fill it), but she called various pharmacies/resources to try and find a solution. Unfortunately she couldn't so she offered to try and contact the doctor who prescribed the Rx to try and work on an alternative solution. She called many times, but was unable to reach him by store closing. She then passed along this problem to the next pharmacist who was in in the morning, Arsany. He was just as wonderful he kept trying the doctor throughout the day and called me to keep me up to date. Unfortunately it took me going back to the doctor in person to get the change, but both pharmacists went above and beyond what I would've asked of them and were very sympathetic to the situation I was in. I will definitely be using them again.”

“At closing time on a busy Friday, the supervisor at Food Basics truly went above and beyond to ensure every customer was taken care of with a smile. Despite the stress and rush of closing, she took the time to assist me with two specific issues. First, she promptly exchanged my carton of eggs that had a broken one. Secondly, noticing that I had picked up a chicken before it was reduced, she made a call to get another one at the discounted price. Her dedication to customer satisfaction was truly impressive. If Food Basics is willing to go that extra mile, I'm more than happy to drive the extra 30 minutes for my weekly shopping instead of going to the independent grocer.”

It's been very pleasant, new owners are trying to keep everything the same, with the addition of some menu items and lunch specials. The old owners did a wonderful job with their business to make it what it is today. The food is good as well as the service!”
