“This place really is a 1 in a million find. They're a very well run shop: everyone is kind, informative, and accommodating. They fixed my Mazda3's front bumper after a hit-and-run incident. They explained every step of the process, and treated me as if I was their most important customer. My car looks as good as the day I bought it after it was finished! They even went way above and beyond, by cleaning, polishing, waxing my entire car after the job was finished. But it didn't end there. Even my interior, and engine bay was scrubbed clean. I couldn't believe it. So long as I'm in the NYC area, they'll be my go-to body shop from here on forward.”

“Needed to get some cosmetic work done on my car. There was nothing mechanically wrong with it, but there was a big dent on the front that was just a huge eyesore. I walked in, was greeted by a man name, Richi. He was more than willing to take me out to look at what my car needed. Then came the manager/I believe he might be the owner Billy. They both seem like standup, regular guys, and I did not feel that they were trying to scam me in anyway. The price that they quoted I felt was fair and even then I was able to negotiate with them because they genuinely wanted to help.They Fixed the damage, replaced my tires and painted my wheel. Everything came out better than expected.When I went to pick up the car after they called me, there was a small area that I felt like could be cleaned a little bit better. Richi went out of his way said that he will take care of it and within 24 hours the car was ready and perfect. They did not try to charge me for anything extra. He even dropped me home. Very easy and simple process. Would highly recommend these guys.They seem like genuine, family, friendly guys who are good at what they do, and take pride at what they do. Would definitely use them again. This is obviously not a paid review and I was not asked to write a review. “So I broke my car mirror, I'm good at that stuff and my friend suggested coming to Puma's autobody. I called them and they were very patient with me making a few phone calls to see if they had the car mirror ready. After a few days when the mirror was ready I walked in, paid and waited for them to fix the mirror. They were fairly quick with it but it wasn't intensive work that would take hours. The staff was also very nice and friendly.The office of the shop was amazing, probably one of the best body shop offices you could ever see. The decor was tasteful and eclectic. They had coffee service, so much seating, and a lot of good art around. I felt like I was waiting in luxury.If you need a body shop around Island Park this is the place to go!”

I dropped my car off, and they gave me a timeframe of when the damages would be completed. Also, I was out the door with a rental they had set up for me from Enterprise car rental on-site. They finished the repairs one time, and their work has always been phenomenal. The rental car drop-off was a breeze, too. I just dropped it off, and they took care of the rest.”

“My car died in my driveway. I called AAA who sent a tech that could not get my car to start and said I would need a tow. I requested one through the AAA app and the guy came within the hour. He told me he was unable to tow my car with his flatbed because he would have to drag it and told me that I needed to request a tow with a dolly. I waited a few hours for a tow (this is from another tow company that AAA sent and not Phil's). I was told the truck was on another call and would get to me shortly (this after waiting for over 2 hours). Finally, I get a call back that they were able to get another company to tow my car but it would take 90 minutes. At this point, who cares? I got a call from Alex from Phil's. He told me where he was and that he was on his way. He came with a flatbed and was able to bring my car to my mechanic, no problem. I was amazed by the skill and artistry that he used in getting my car safely on and off the tow truck! I have a newfound admiration for the drivers. He was friendly and helpful. He was also correct in his unofficial diagnosis of what was wrong with my car. I would definitely recommend this company and this driver. I wish AAA would've sent them first. It would've saved me over 6 hours of waiting for the other company.”
