“Heard about this store from the LI Teachers group on FB. Greatest little find. Store has teacher supplies throughout but most of it is concentrated in the back. The woman at the register is extremely helpful. If you can’t find something, just ask her, she will let you know if they have any more in the back or if the are ordering more supplies. They also laminate anything you buy for free. Plus teachers get a 15% discount. Great store and customer service.”
“By far the best hobby shop around NYC, has been for ages, not many left. Amazing selection of rc cars, planes, boats, model trains and loads of diecast cars of all makes, models and sizes.
Worth the trip, staff are also super friendly and helpful.”

The store is organized by age grouping and the people working there are so knowledgeable on all the newest fads. There’s truly something for every age group and occasion there. “No weekend is complete without a run to 5 Below. It's always for something that's needed like a phone charger cord and then I wind up seeing so many other things that I feel like I must have. This location is usually pretty well stocked and the staff is friendly. Every once in a while they're short handed up front but they seem to make it work. On this trip I got pillows and a throw for my guest bedroom because they were super cute and affordable. I also bought another bookcase/organizer because I used one of theirs for my pop up shop set up and it works really great. Even though some things are more than $5 most of my items were actually $5. If you have a very small child, I'm warning you they have lots of cute toys and a lot of candy especially near the checkout so either prep them before you go in or don't bring them.”

“I actually love this Build a bear so much, probably one of the best locations. I haven't been to any Build a bear in YEARS and the staff were so extremely nice to me. Some scents and textures bother me, and they were very patient with helping me get my plushie exactly how I wanted. I should've paid better attention to the names of the staff, I think the one who did the stuffing was Natalie (I'm so sorry if I spelled that wrong) I'll definitely be coming back! I didn't feel like I was unwelcomed or judged. You can tell the staff enjoys what they're doing and puts effort into providing good customer service.”
