“Love Trader Joe’s. Love all of their products and even as crowded as it gets, lines move super quickly. If you go later in the day, shelves tend to be bare which isn’t so great when some people need to shop later and cannot purchase all their groceries in one trip!”
“I shop here daily, the prices are good, either the same price as most other grocery stores or less. The staff is kind and friendly, but the produce could be better in terms of fruits and vegetables as sometimes they are either moldy or mushy. Overall it is a good store to shop for goods and necessities.”

“The customer service here is excellent. Everyone--from the cashiers to produce to other staff members are so friendly. Special praise goes to Rebecca, Kourtney, and Trea. All the cashiers are kind and polite and have great attitudes, but those three go even further. They are all so full of energy and make it exciting and fun to be there.”

“It's ok for an alternative to a basic convenience store. A little bit small, but the prices are not so competitive for what you can usually find in other stores.”
“Best organic health food store in Beacon. Lots of essentials and everything one could need to cook three meals a day at home.
Meats, fish, cheeses, eggs, vegetables, fruits, etc... Good incense and essential oil selection, skin care stuff, etc…
Good atmosphere. friendly staff. Bathroom in back.”
“Panchito’s Deli in the heart of Newburgh is a true gem. Their sandwiches (hot and cold) are packed with flavor and made with love. But the real game-changers are the birria tacos and tacos dorados, seriously some of the best you’ll ever have. They’ve got all the deli classics, the portions are generous, and the prices are hard to beat these days. You’ll try it once and definitely be back for more. YOU HAVE TO TRY!!”
“Just excellent- everything is great at this store! The produce is super fresh, baked goods are delicious, cheese dept is extensive, meat and deli counters are great, and the pizza is fabulous.
Don't skip the garden center - the plants as well as the gardening supplies are top notch. Lastly, the customer service is wonderful.”
“There is a lot in this little supermarket and I really appreciate the convenience and location. They carry yummy flavors of Haagen-Dazs like pineapple coconut and rum tres leches. I also like the small selection of flowers and the bakery. They have sushi, hot food, etc. Fresh meat and seafood market in the back. I haven’t tried everything but they manage to offer a lot in a small space and the aisles have just enough room to not feel cramped in my opinion. I’m never waiting at the registers for long so the place is well run. I noticed the music getting played is very nostalgic too. Overall a pleasant experience, I stop by often.”

“This store has a big selection of vegan groceries. They also have like every product from Bob's Red Mill. Lots of unique, hard to find, and healthy foods to try from here. Store is cleanly and well organized. The prices are a bit high when compared, but there are a lot of items on sale.”

“Love this place, incredible selection of curated olive oil varietals and aged balsamic vinegar. Really sweet and delicious. I use the white champagne balsamic for salad dressings, and I put a tiny dab of the 25 year balsamic in my sauces to sweeten and add complexity.”
“Going to shoprite with the lunatics is no bueno..., these guys have a good selection, very nice, helpful people and it's super convenient..very recommended..”
“Good quality meat, very fresh and at a good price for the sancochos and broths, also other Dominican things that I have only seen here ?️?the staff is also very nice and attentive, if you can't find something, ask!”
“As some others have mentioned, the store has an excellent produce section!! Always fresh and a wonderful selection!! My experience with the cashiers has been excellent as they have been friendly and helpful with packing my purchases. I have other choices in the area but if what I want is available at Sav-a-Lot, that's where I buy it. Always a good shopping experience.”
“This store is an old A&P. It's big and could be merchandise better. Because ShopRite is practically across the street they don't do much business but it's easy to get in and out of.”
“Great place for a quick stop for food and provisions on our way to a day of hiking. This is our second time hitting up this spot. They have plenty of trail mixes. Good prices at 3.99 a bag. We went to the deli to have fresh sandwhiches made. The meat portions were generous. Price was great. Around 8 bucks per sandwhich. Not sure what the other reviewers mean when they said this place was pricey. But then again, I compare every price against NYC . So the pricing is fair in my opinion.”
“I had a great experience at the deli counter yesterday thanks to Megan M. She was so kind, patient, and attentive, making sure my order was exactly right. Her friendly attitude and genuine care really stood out and made the experience so much better. Megan provided excellent customer service, and I truly appreciated her help.”

“Fresh produce and the meatballs + sausage are still the same recipe from when my grandma and I would walk up the block to Geraci’s in the 90’s. Very friendly staff and has everything you’d need. Support small business!”
“Good grief! It’s a gas station. Yes, you need a membership to use it. Yes, gas is less expensive there than elsewhere. It would be nice if the receipt always printed.”

“Hannaford pharmacies in Highland as well as in Modena are both great and really work to try and get your medicine filled. I have had Highland recently do it in a short amount of time and truly appreciated it a lot as I needed the medicine.”
“I came in for a few things. It was super easy to find everything because I've never been here before & I used the self checkout and it was super easy to use also.”
“I love this place the vegetable is very fresh. You can buy fish you can buy make meat. You can buy very cheap peanuts. You can buy sesame chocolate like I’ll be saying like. Candy so delicious and only one thing is no plastic bag. You have to bring them with you or the person from the register gave you box. I’m very recommended this store.”
“Great corner store for snacks, smokes, and beer. Ibrahim, Hasan, and Brian are all good guys and serve as pseudo-therapists for one too many of their regular customers.”
“Of all the wonderful things Beacon has to offer, I will miss Durkins the most when I move to Poughkeepsie. It's not the amazing bars, restaurants, matcha/coffee shops-- it's this magical one-stop-shop, opens early/closes late, friendly neighborhood convenience store. I've lived across the street for 3 yrs and have seen many different faces behind the counter-all of whom have been helpful and friendly. Great selection of beverages, snacks, household items, etc. They've saved me countless times late night when I needed a snack, ran out of paper towels, was sick and needed cold medicine, or my guest forgot their toothbrush.
This place is THE BEST.”
“Delicious, authentic, clean, organized, friendly, and great pricing! If you want good fresh tacos this is the place! They do not sell alcohol that’s the only bummer but the food makes up for it! If they sold alcohol people would probably never leave! Amazing food!”
“Love the atmosphere in this ShopRite the Supervisor is always singing old school music. She is always pleasant when I go to shop. I would have given the overall store a 5 but during the last winter storm the butcher sold me a bad pack of lamb chops that was $70 and I had to bring it back. The 2 male managers was like would you like a new cut and I was like absolutely not”
“I am obsessed with these meals. I have celiacs disease and it has been really hard for me to find food that is good, easy, healthy, sourced with the world in mind and truly delicious. When I found these they were everything I had been looking for and some! If you enjoy authentic, adventurous quinine this is it! I have a few local favorites and this is in the top 3 over even restaurants we have access to in the city. The portion size is really nice. I feel full, indulged but not too full. I love the flavors, packaging just everything about them. I can travel with them easily! Once you try one you won't go back. I have a friend in NYC who found these and eats them every night for dinner now lol.Quick Tip: I made a friend with an older women in her 90's and she always wanted me to bring Indian Food when I came to Vt from Boston. Well I tried on multiple occasions but it was never kept well for the drive... I wish I had found these then!! It would have been a really cool "experience" for someone who can not easily get to adventurous food! Find your grandparents and give it a go!”

“This store is basically like the National food stores. They just sell lesser quality known name brands. I usually find everything I'm looking for. The store is always neat and clean when I go there. I like the fruit and vegetable assortments. The meat and dairy section is usually stocked if the customers haven't bought everything out. I also like the variety of items you can buy there. I go in and do my shopping and leave shortly after.”
“The sandwiches are excellent. She uses Boar’s Head provisions and is always fresh. Her sandwiches are expensive; IT’S ALL PRICY IN HERE, but I’m sure her rents not cheap, so we deal with it for convenience’s sake! The IGA was here for many yrs, but it’s long gone, so this lil bodega is the closest we have to a grocery store just a quick trip down the street! Rosie and her sister are nice, I like them both!”
