“I have been taking classes with Maggie on and off for the past 20 years. Her classes challenge me physically and mentally. The classes blend the philosophy of yoga with Taoism, and Buddhism, and are mixed expertly with Thai Chi, and Qi Gong. The studio is large, bright, and welcoming with large bathrooms and showers. I cannot recommend this place enough for the total vinyasa yoga experience.”

“This review is long overdue, but I can’t say enough good things about Fit Social’s personal training program. I came in wanting to get back in shape and build strength after years of sitting all day for work, and honestly, I was intimidated at first. I’m not a “gym rat” and have always been on the heavier side, so I was nervous about starting.

From my very first call with Steve, I could tell how much he cares about his people—their progress, their goals, and their mindset. His energy sets the tone for the whole studio. I worked primarily with Sarah, who was incredibly patient, empathetic, and flexible, but also pushed me in the best way possible. She challenged me while making sure I felt supported every step of the way.

What really stood out was how flexible they were whenever life got in the way. Whether I needed to pause or adjust, they worked with me to figure out what program fit best, without ever making me feel discouraged. The environment in the studio is motivating, positive, and focused not just on weight loss, but on building strength, health, and confidence.

After training here for over a year, I can honestly say it’s one of the most personal and supportive gyms I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend to anyone in the Hudson Valley area who’s looking for a truly personalized approach and trainers who listen, motivate, and genuinely care.”

The coaches are knowledgeable, warm and welcoming and the members and community are friendly, supportive and motivating. I loved the atmosphere and environment the minute I walked in. The coaches take the time and attention to do a thorough warm-up and they explain and demo each movement to ensure our form is on point. The programming is creative, demanding and varied to keep us on our toes and keep us getting after our gains. Overall, if you are looking for a solid place to train, with coaches and people who put a smile on your face, this is the place!!”

“I've known Kendall for almost 50 years and have been training with him for 10. I returned to softball at age 60 and went to Kendall to begin a training regime. With his expertise, I increased my strength and speed and now, at age 70, can still play at a high level. “How lucky we are to have a 24 hour gym in town! I primarily lift weights and they have a good variety of equipment in that department. I only go in the early morning and find it to be not too crowded. Since I go during unstaffed hours I mostly deal with staff via email. Which are courteous and prompt. My only wish is that they add another cable crossover machine. I always recommend Ignite for folks looking to get a membership to a local gym.”

“First off, this is a gym and not a health club. People go there to train, not flirt. There are no locker rooms, no showers. There's barely a coat rack. There is a tanning bed, but I doubt it ever gets used. DF has every conceivable machine, bar, bench, or cardio you could possibly want or need. Some of it is worn from constant use, but everything is clean and in good condition. Every last client, from the biggest bodybuilder to the 70 year woman trying to just stay fit, is pleasant and friendly. Looking for a 'no judgement zone?' This is it. Whether you are a hard core power lifter or just someone trying to stay reasonably fit, this place will answer every need you have. To me, DF is perfect.”

“The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful at all times. Plenty of free weights and workout machines so there's very little wait time to interrupt your workout routine. They have a full basketball court, 2 full sized indoor soccer fields and 3 full volleyball courts. Downstate North volleyball club operates out of this location. They're also located right next to the Hudson Valley rail trail, which goes from Hopewell Junction to Highland.”
