“Many qipao stores have closed since the pandemic, thank goodness Sylvia's is still around. I came up from DC to find a wedding qipao after a frustrating day of not being allowed to try on garments in Manhattan Chinatown. Despite only making an appointment 2 hours prior, Sylvia allowed me to try on as many as I wanted and was super helpful in helping me decide among options. I found brocade styles that I've never seen at other stores or online. I came back several months later (timed with a work trip) to try on what I had ordered -- it had to be shipped from China. I thought I would have to return for a third trip to pick up my tailoring but no, Sylvia made adjustments while I got lunch in Flushing and I took it home that afternoon! I could not recommend making the trek out here more.”

“Overall, a great store. It's clean and there are always associates on the floor to help. Items are organized. The clearance rack is rough because the sizes are everywhere and it includes all sizes from infact to adult. Other old navy's have it separated in their department (kids, male, female).It is packed though so there is opportunity to get a deal if you have time to look.They have a line most of the time but I think it moves quickly. I come to this one for convenience of location. However if I am looking for a specific product I go to Flushing, where they usually have an item.Sales are always visible and easy to see, and there has not been one employee who didn't seem like they wanted to be there. I've been coming to this location the last 2 years.”

She was able to take our budget and color/design preferences and find beautiful pieces from her extensive inventory. We never felt pressured to buy anything. “This little hidden gem I never knew existed until I had a science experiment go wrong one day with a Parent teacher conference that afternoon and evening.. Returning home for a change of clothes was out of the question, but the ladies back then were awesome in having me ready for a PTC. The ladies of today are EXCEPTIONALLY AMAZING AS WELL...... ALLLLLL WERE KIND, FRIENDLY, RESPECTFUL, KNOWLEGABLE OF INVENTORY, STYLES, FASHION etc. These ladies were always pleasant, timely, and offered honest, true opinions with respect to the utmost to/for each customer. Their various skills paid attention to the smallest detail, for each individual customer and clothing selected. I enjoyed speaking with one rep over the phone (Krystal), then had an even more pleasurable experience with the manager (Jerelle). It had been a long, trying, difficult day, but these ladies made me feel as if I was shopping with old friends of 30 yrs, enabling me to spend more money. (Lol) The other young lady, whose name I unfortunately did not get, because I was not wearing my glasses, and could not read her nametag, was so efficient and helpful with the customers on line, and was able to explain and answer every question each customer asked. She took the time to review the return policy, exchanges, reminded customer of store rewards, savings, etc. Overall, the only complaint is, WHY CAN'T THIS ATMOSPHERE AND PEOPLE EXIST IN EVERY STORE I FREQUENT???I HAVE TO GIVE 20 STARS ? OUT OF 10...KEEP UP THE FABULOUS WORK LADIES.I look forward to coming back for another relaxing session....lol.. see you tomorrow!!”

“Edge Clothing is pretty cool. I was drawn in by the METS gear and was enjoying the variety of teams and the great colors. I was surprised to find the business in Yelp and that there's no photos or reviews. I know there's a Manhattan location in Hudson Yards. Maybe it's a little too high end for this location or maybe they just opened. My daughter reminded me that she buys me all the sport shirts, jackets, hats and memorabilia I need! Needless to say we hit the door. I'm definitely recommending you visit if you love to wear clothes with your sports teams name. I really love the colors!”
