“My son goes to school in Alfred. His Jeep wouldn’t start and after many failed attempts to jump the battery, he called Stewart’s for tow and potential repair. A gentleman showed up (maybe John) and got the vehicle started with a jump pack. He had my son follow him back to the shop where he ran a few other tests and determined that he needed a new battery. The battery was replaced at a very reasonable rate and there was no charge for the trip out to the school. My son said that everyone was very nice and helpful.It’s great to know that are still honest people still out there that won’t overcharge a niave college kid!”
“I was reluctant to go there yesterday for an inspection because of my last inspection experience but yesterday reminded me of K&K of old. My friend went with me again and before we even opened the door we could see a difference. My friend thought it was new owners and even asked but it is still K&K. The only differences I know of are that a person has retired, a person has been hired, and the person taking care of you is different and refreshing. As for the reception area, it is on par with dealerships and large automotive establishments. My husband has been a mechanic for 34 years so as long as his health and the health of his family and friends hold out he will do his own work but as for inspections they have our repeat business and hopefully after reading this review yours also.”

“After changing out a flat tire on the side of the road, I gave Lamac’s a call to see if they could get me in for a tire patch because I was far from home. They made room, got me in, and had me out pretty quickly, even though they were backed up. So grateful for these guys! True heroes of the day!”

“Maple City Dodge to the rescue ! I live over 100 miles away and my engine blew out at Swain Ski Resort. I met the owners of MCD at the resort and they said they would help me out. My vehicle was towed to their business. Even though it was a Chevy, they got the engine replaced and the Bill was below the original estimate, and completed ahead of schedule (which saved me a tremendous amount of time and money). The car performance is excellent as I tested it on the Hills of 36N. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and expertise ! The only other option I had was to scrap the vehicle. Now I will get a few more years of use thanks to them !”

“Had a blow out on a trailer, loaded, long trip. Monro's call center gets zero stars but the local guys were exceptionally helpful with the worn out equipment on hand. The place needs investment to be a good shop. But the guy behind the counter and in the shop helped me out a ton and got me on the road. Blowout at 5:30 and tire back on in their lot by 6:00. Thank you guys and thanks for your help! They all need raises working in those conditions!!!”
“Life saver. We had a nail in our tire traveling. We got to Salamanca and the tire got a nail and went out and then the front went out. With a can of fix a flat and a donut we got back to our house in Hornell and took it in the next day. They popped 4 new tires on it without an appointment with a rarer size and for a good price! Competitors wouldn’t have had them in stock for a few days. Why 4? The other 2 were balding and best to just get her all done. To note the wait for a few days here would not usually an issue as far as competitors but it was this time because my kiddos go to school in KY. So we had to get them back without missing much more class! And safer now. Thanks!”

“This was the only shop in the area willing to take on my old interceptor Crown Vic. Every other shop turned me down. They diagnosed my issue, they were more than affordable and I was able to order my part the following week and do the repair myself. All I needed was a diagnosis and I had my car back from them the same day. Super thankful for them and I will definitely be back when I need help in the future!”
