450 Fairview Avenue, HudsonMy husband and I signed our new puppy up for weekly training at PetSmart. We didn't really know what to expect, and the experience ended up being wonderful. The teacher/trainer Gwen is so warm and kind and has a vast knowledge of how the canine mind works at different ages and stages, and what they might be needing in a particular moment.
Our puppy has gotten so skillful at taking leash walks and following basic commands. But, even more importantly, Gwen helped us to understand how to build a two-way, trust-based relationship with our puppy so she will follow commands in the first place, knowing we will have her back and take care of her. We cherished this training and our time with Gwen!

263 Fairview Avenue, HudsonWe’ve been bringing our border collie to Dr. Mongil & his wonderful staff for the past three years, ever since he was a tiny puppy, and we couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else with his care.
Dr. Mongil is incredibly knowledgeable, straightforward, and thorough - he always takes the time to explain everything clearly and never rushes through our visits. His expertise and calm approach have made such a difference for our dog, who is usually very nervous at any dog service place.
The office is always spotless, welcoming, and well-organized, and the staff is genuinely friendly, attentive, and caring. They consistently go above and beyond to make our pup feel safe and comfortable - greeting him warmly, helping him relax, and of course offering a couple of treats to win him over.
We’re so grateful for the exceptional care he receives every single time.
Highly recommend Dr. Mongil & his team to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and professional veterinarian!

161 Main St, HudsonWonderful venue for wedding. The view is great and the venue is spacious to host both outdoor and indoor ceremony. The indoor space has a bar, a dance section, a billiard table (tho not official and a bit lower in height), room that you can serve food to guests, and hang out with friends. The outdoor space is large enough for host a ceremony, it has some tables and seats and tree with a swing. I'd say the view outdoors is pretty beautiful, specially at night. I think this can be a good venue to have celebs in. Definitely recommend it : )

I come in there every once in awhile almost every day for something different or the same depending on you know what I'm in the mood for and whatever my work day is like. It's always something for me to take home or to take to work so I really do enjoy that and it's a lot cheaper than going to Burger King or going to McDonald's the only criticism I can only say about this place is when they're very very busy. You know that really don't pay attention and I want to say the other day I got the wrong order of the food that I didn't order but I ended eating it anyway so no bother to me but all in all great place. The staff in there are very very nice

Over the past 6 months or so, the kitchen has taken a nose dive and is tainting the experience — the kitchen is slow, food is regularly overcooked, fries are old and sometimes refried. The servers do their best to try and distract from the issue but overall, the beloved Govies has been consistently bad in its quality of food preparation. The menu is still great. It’s just poorly executed. And until someone fires and replaces whoever is running the kitchen, nothing will change and eventually we will lose another beloved neighborhood spot. So this is less of a review and more of a plea to please replace the kitchen staff and restore Govies place as the hidden gem it was always known to be with the absolute best burgers in town.
