All Groomed Up

The groomer is a very sweet lady, my dogs grooming is always great and prices are also very reasonable. I have a very small and nervous dog and I wouldn’t trust to bring her to any other groomer.

163 Ulster Ave, SaugertiesIt was such a relief to be able to bring Coco to a place with such wonderful caring people. You can tell they are all animal lovers.
Dr. Matthies was very professional, but also very friendly and gave us every detail we needed to know, including the financial info, which I actually think was more than fair. The staff was great too!
We will definitely be back.

190 NY-32, Saugerties8/29/26 1020 am. I found myself in Saugerties today shopping little garage sales and landed upon this ice cream store. I’m not supposed to have ice cream because dairy doesn’t agree with me but what made me stop here was they had a big display sign with all their goodies and they have a large selection of non-dairy products. I bought a vanilla and chocolate swirl soft ice cream on a vanilla cone. Let me tell you, a size small it’s like an extra large. I was charged four dollars and change and I decided to leave a dollar tip because they opened for Me when they actually were closed. If you go, keep in mind, they are open at 11 AM and I was served my ice cream at 10:30 AM.. the creamy texture of the ice cream left me with no doubt that I didn’t miss the dairy form of it. Thank you very much to the welcoming service and the awesome ice cream. I plan on being back soon.!

Getting home and opening that food was like Christmas. The red sauce and tzatziki sauces were out of this world, perfect level of seasonings and heat. Service was on point, and attentive; and you get so much food for such a great price. As a Saugerties resident I will say that I am eager and excited to explore more of the menu!

3101 Rte 9W, SaugertiesMy first time to Sue's as a local in the neighborhood, I was greeted my Fred with a friendly smile. I was on my lunch break so I ordered to go. Fred suggested the chicken cutlet hero. My order was in quickly, while I enjoyed the Yankee game at the bar on big HD flatscreens. My sandwich was delicious, real cutlet lightly breaded, with very fresh bread. Sue's is a local gem, classy decor, a comfortable environment.

Music can be loud if you're sitting directly next to the band, but theres plenty of other places to sit. All in all, love the music and energy at this place.

I think there’s a big opportunity for this restaurant to approach customers with a mindset of making them feel like they are the focus.
Totally normal to charge extra for proteins etc on a menu, however I’m assuming there’s a decent business to be had when addressing a niche (ex. Gluten free). If this is a niche you’re after, perhaps a more hospitable approach is finding how you can bury the cost of ingredient substitutions so you don’t have to extract another $1.50 from customers (who may have allergies beyond their control). As a customer this would make me feel more at home.
There are a few too many disclaimers and signage. “We are not fast food. Please be patient.” I’ll note that service was not fast, so this may be more a reflection of the restaurant’s current performance rather than solely due to customers’ expectations. I hope the restaurant team here can sit in the chair of the customer and see this from another perspective.
I’d love to see this restaurant blossom to its full potential.
