“The staff at this post office are ALL truly AMAZING. They greet you with a smile and make sure every customer is totally satisfied.
An issue came up where one of the postal workers was not able to resolve an issue. The postal worker called the supervisor and problem solved.
I give them a 10 star!!!”

“I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I ought to know because I’ve been coming here for 37 years. The lady that was a bad clerk years ago is no longer there because her husband left her and went back to Korea by himself and then she retired. The staff now is very nice and accommodating. I’ve seen many employees even retire at this place through the years , that’s how long I’ve been coming here.I have nothing but good things to say.it’s also a safe place to get my eBay packages delivered. Too many porch pirates ( thieves) in the building I currently reside in .”
“I had a great experience at the United States Post Office in Woodmere. There was only one customer ahead of me, and the line moved very quickly. I needed a passport photo and walked in—even though the door states that an appointment is required, the staff was beyond friendly and accommodating. They were able to take my photo on the spot and carefully verify that it met all passport photo requirements.
There was also plenty of parking available in the lot, which made the visit even easier. From the moment I walked in the door to the time I got back into my car, the entire process took less than 15 minutes. Efficient, friendly, and stress-free service.”

“Today was the first time going to this post office. I usually go to the big one off of Hillside and 164th and it's always a very unpleasant experience. I chose differently today and decided to go to this branch on Austin street. They had enough people behind the counter and my agent was a superstar. He helped me find the best price for shipping my package, helped me choose the right box and he made sure I didn't have to wait in line a second time! This is now my new post office!”

“I did my son’s passport here. I loved the privacy that was created in this location. They have a whole separate room for passports. Ladies taking the applications were knowledgeable and nice. The whole process was smooth, quick and easy as it should be . Highly recommend- this my to go post office from now on.”

“Line moves fast. Isabella, the lady with the unkept hair, and sunken eye bags is rude and dry. Whereas, the woman with long grey hair is quick, kind and straight to the point. I didn’t catch her name it starts with a M, but give her a raise!”
“I think this Post Office in Queens offers the best service. The staff is courteous and go above and beyond to make sure your paper work is in order. “The Island Park Post Office is a hidden gem! Every time I go, there’s either no line or just a short wait, which is such a relief compared to the chaos at the Long Beach location. The staff here are friendly, efficient, and go above and beyond to help.
Unlike Long Beach, where even the basics feel like pulling teeth, Island Park actually provided me with tape when I needed it—something so small but incredibly appreciated. It’s clear they value good customer service and keeping things running smoothly.
I would 100% rather take the short drive to Island Park than deal with the frustration of Long Beach. This is how a post office should operate! Highly recommend.”

“My family has resided on 139 th st and Linden blvd. since the early fifties. In all that time we have had many postmen/women. Of them all Gordon was the best. Unfortunately he is retiring, leaving a large hole to fill. They have sent a few people but only one stands out. His name is Jeremiah. He is warm, courteous and delivers all your mail and packages with a smile. I believe he is a younger version of our beloved Gordon. Please consider leaving him on this route. This particular post office needs all the good will it can get”
“The manager is the only one working today 2/24/2026 and she is sick a pleasant lady. Greets everyone and very accommodating even though she is the only one working. 5/5 customer service”
“I've consistently had great service at the RVC USPS office. The window team is friendly & knowledge about packaging & postal fees. The lobby is clean, air conditioned & well stocked with USPS forms, envelopes & boxes. It also has a self-service kiosk. This is one of my favorite post offices in Nassau County. Thanks! :)”

“The regular workers are so polite, helpful, and patient. Whenever the lines are long and I have to wait instead of using the drop box, I get a greeting with a generous smile, and the greeting is worth the wait! So, I don't mind a sometimes unusual busy day at the Post Office!”

“My experience was amazing! Had passport done for my 11 month daughter with Tony and we were in an out quick! He was super friendly and overall a very pleasant experience.
Weeks later I had to ship something and the blond lady was so helpful. I needed a box and she tried different sizes to help me. My experience again was amazing! From parking to the pace of workers and there services very good job!!”

“Post offices generally give me anxiety and I try my best to steer clear of them due to awful past experiences. This time I had no choice as I needed to get my passport renewed and I had to ship out a return. Fortunately for me the staff here (Darvin clerk #38, and Yinney (pronounced Jenny) were actually the friendliest and most helpful post office clerks I have ever met in my life. Darvin even made some jokes that made me laugh and eased my anxiety. What’s more impressive about their amazing customer service is that there were only 2 people doing everything. It was obvious they were understaffed but that didn’t stop them from being nice to literally everyone. I see the post office has improved and I’m glad they hired these two really great people!”

“It's not the best place but it's not the worst either. I would like them to have a machine so that customers who are going to drop off a package after 5 pm scan their package and leave it there without the need for a human. We can't all go to USPS from 9am to 5PM since we work they should have a machine 24/7 to go and drop off package so anyone can go and drop off packages at any time But it's just a suggestion, nothing more. That would call more customers since there are many people who don't want to interact with the USPS workers and they just send their packages in another USPS close to the town”
