“Rented a U-Haul cargo van for a move & was not disappointed. The van was clean, had connection for my USB phone charger. The pick-up & drop off was easy & only required a cellphone to take pictures & do everything online. I rented it for 24hrs but only used it for a few & was pleasantly surprised of how easy the return was even after hours. I will definitely rent again!”

We also rented the truck for the whole day but when we returned it in a short amount of time, he decided to only charge us hourly which saved us some money! “Do not try to reserve online as it seems it means nothing and it's not related to inventory at each site. Call and reserve it so they can confirm they have the vehicle. I reserved online for another location and no one called me, I called in and they told me they don't even carry that model. Also note that they only take cash for rentals which is especially odd as they use cards for holds.
Aside from that, you basically get what you pay for. As others have mentioned the vans are not well maintained. Although I didn't have a problem mechanically, the radio didn't work and the interior was rougher than a Uhaul. It shifted kind of rough and you could tell the shocks were probably at the end of their life. But for what you pay, it's not a bad experience. I rented a Micro Mover and it was exactly what I needed and I saved gas as opposed to the larger vans that you'd rent from Uhaul or Home Depot.”

“The people who work at thus location are very nice & courteous. Everything went quick with the rental & spacious parking lot. Had a issue with the mileage I had to pay for renting in Inwood, instead of Brooklyn, because of availability but it's not thr locations fault. U haul representative from the customers service department was rude & did not want to help at all.”
