“No frills rental service. Love them. Their rates are decent and they don’t charge you a gazillion fees. The only reason they don’t get 5 stars is because one time I went in for a car, and they didn’t have any left, so they gave me a minivan, and that would of been fine, but it was BUSTED looking. But it got me from point a to point b and that’s what was important.They are very polite and friendly. Great service. Good people.”

Jasmine Carter is the general manager and I was very impressed at how much she cares about customer satisfaction. Colleen assisted me both times and she was kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. “This U-Haul is based out of a 24h gas station. The great thing is you can thus pick up your vehicle any time. I rented a van and it was clean, gassed up, ready to go. Check in was easy via the app or the text link. The gas prices here are the same as any other place so super easy to fill up on return and not over/under pay. Not far from the Queens Plaza R train. I will use them again”

“I am very pleased with this U-Haul experience. Although it states limited business hours, the trucks are actually able to be rented pretty much 24/7. You reserve online and go there, find the truck, use a key code to unlock the truck key. I rented a truck at 1130pm when I had a surprise moving task. Was able to rent the U-Haul in the middle of the night, use it, return it. All with no need for worrying about lines or business hours.Pro tip. For the trucks, the "truck number" is printed above the rear rolling door. Took me awhile to find it.The truck was in perfect shape, clean, everything great.This was an excellent experience and I will use them again if needed.Of course the difficulty is the location far away from things but that's up to you to determine if too hard to get to. It's about a 15 minute walk from the Hunters Point 7 and the neighborhood seems safe if not pretty.”

“Everything with the van was great. It was exactly what I needed and they gave it to me nice and clean. I would rent from this location again. The customer service at this location was great but when I was charged to much and called budget customer service the representative said if I was charged to much and everything was finalized that she could not help me. Luckily management at this location helped me resolve the issue but don't count on budget customer service for help at all.”
