“I had to come do a review because folks tend to review only with bad experiences and not good ones. I come to this post office because it's close to us, closes at 3 on Saturdays, and the folks behind the desk are so helpful and nice. Never have had an issue and I've had service by different personnel. I like this over any other post office in Rockland... especially palisades mall where one person in particular is rude and miserable.”

“All these people complaining maybe the ones who don’t pay their bills. Never had problem here. Yes they can get busy and things maybe slightly delayed but not terribly. Yes everyone double parks at every business on Gramatan Avenue not in owners control. If you are using this as a business address then pay your business bills. Stop being cheap on the holidays Scarsdale people . Post office workers work soo hard to get yall packages in rain sleet and snow falling tripping just to rush to have lunch that’s really not long enough.
And the summers try to offer more water so they don’t die on your steps or pass out . It’s burning up outside and you think you have Johnny bravo carrying your stuff or Arnold swordsanegga or however his friggin name is spelled .
Oh & Have more compassion
Especially because my heart might be yall post man . He works soo hard to try to service the community. His name is Chris Lewis . So give him extra kindness for me please.

“The women who work here are the kindest and most patient employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with at a post office. I will never use my local post offices again because this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. They helped me use up old postage I ordered incorrectly so I could mail several packages without wasting it or buying new stamps. They were patient and kind and pleasant with everyone. We had a lovely conversation while they helped me and I honestly can’t say enough nice things. Best post office in the COUNTY!!! Thank you and muita obgridada a meu amiga nova, who even practiced Portuguese with me! ❤️❤️”

“I do not think I've ever encountered a U.S. postal service with 5 stars. I was curious and in the area so visited this location, and was impressed. It's in a cute area, across the street from a cafe. The post office was clean, and not busy whatsoever. Also, the mail clerk who helped me was kind, helpful, and professional. Definitely recommend this post office if you are in the area and in need of shipping.”
“Always courteous, always fully staffed and that staff is helpful, knowledgeable and thorough when explaining the mailing service options.
We ship a broad variety of packages and they get the job done well every time.
I always wonder how come deliveries are quicker when shipped from this USPS or the one in Rye, than when shipped from other area sites? The difference is noticeable and why we travel a bit out of our way for our mailing needs.”

The USPS has been starved for funds for ages now so if you're unhappy with this post office, write your congressman and advocate for better funding - don't blame the people who do the best they can with outdated equipment, office space etc.”

Always a positive attitude and will to help! Every time I go in there they are always smiling and ready to help. You know dmv offices and pretty much any gov office is filled with snotty not wanting to work people but these people are good hard working people that always do their job with a smile and what more can you ask for.
