The lady that was a bad clerk years ago is no longer there because her husband left her and went back to Korea by himself and then she retired. The staff now is very nice and accommodating. I’ve seen many employees even retire at this place through the years , that’s how long I’ve been coming here.I have nothing but good things to say.it’s also a safe place to get my eBay packages delivered. Too many porch pirates ( thieves) in the building I currently reside in .”
“It's the best place to apply for a passport. I arrived a day before my appointment to pick up a form, and the people there are so kind and polite. The next day, I arrived with my son to apply for his passport, and Jazmin is such a kind person. She helped me with everything and was so patient when taking my son's photo. “I think this Post Office in Queens offers the best service. The staff is courteous and go above and beyond to make sure your paper work is in order. “The workers at this post office are very nice people and they always try their best, however I run a local business and depend on my mail in a timely fashion per the app. When I lived in Seaford, the app was 99.9% accurate and my checks always came. At North Bellmore, they are always understaffed and worse on holiday weeks. There needs to be better staffing by management, so PO Box owners can get mail in a timely fashion. This is an organization that should be more on top of things. The public depends on this. When the economy is tight like now, timeliness matters more. I’d love to see mail put in the boxes quicker so we don’t have to wait days extra. If the app was 99.9% on time in Seaford that SHOULD translate to all towns locally.”

“My main location where I ship ALL my packages and letters. It sucks that they aren't open on the weekends. It is always closed from 12-1:15. Joyce is the sweetest lady ever! She is so helpful and gives assistance when needed. I have mainly been coming to this location because of her!”
“This is my local post office. I’ve always had great experience with them always went above and beyond letting my son use the restroom one time it’s a great location that the staff they are very friendly and knowledgeable and asked the truth.”

I didn’t catch the name of the guy who answered the phone, but he was incredibly helpful despite being quite busy. I appreciate that he took the time to help me out with concerns regarding the package while he was busy.”

An hour after I called, the missing package magically appeared. . .Thanks to their efforts. This is without a doubt a 5 Star Post Office!”
“I've consistently had great service at the RVC USPS office. The window team is friendly & knowledge about packaging & postal fees. The lobby is clean, air conditioned & well stocked with USPS forms, envelopes & boxes. It also has a self-service kiosk. This is one of my favorite post offices in Nassau County. Thanks! :)”
“I come to drop off packages every once in a while and have had good experiences. My packages arrive to the destination around 3 days after drop off so very standard and professional. The post office is small, but the clerks work very fast to accommodate everyone. I haven't had any issues so far. They have been lovely so far.”

“Post offices generally give me anxiety and I try my best to steer clear of them due to awful past experiences. This time I had no choice as I needed to get my passport renewed and I had to ship out a return. Fortunately for me the staff here (Darvin clerk #38, and Yinney (pronounced Jenny) were actually the friendliest and most helpful post office clerks I have ever met in my life. Darvin even made some jokes that made me laugh and eased my anxiety. What’s more impressive about their amazing customer service is that there were only 2 people doing everything. It was obvious they were understaffed but that didn’t stop them from being nice to literally everyone. I see the post office has improved and I’m glad they hired these two really great people!”

“The Island Park Post Office is a hidden gem! Every time I go, there’s either no line or just a short wait, which is such a relief compared to the chaos at the Long Beach location. The staff here are friendly, efficient, and go above and beyond to help.
Unlike Long Beach, where even the basics feel like pulling teeth, Island Park actually provided me with tape when I needed it—something so small but incredibly appreciated. It’s clear they value good customer service and keeping things running smoothly.
I would 100% rather take the short drive to Island Park than deal with the frustration of Long Beach. This is how a post office should operate! Highly recommend.”
