Customers frequently mention the friendly and attentive service, especially in the paint section, where staff are quick to offer suggestions and go the extra mile. Overall, Ace Northeast Hardware is known for its helpfulness, quality service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes shopping a positive experience.
Not exactly an old fashioned hardware store, but close. Kind of a modern store with a lot of the selection and customer service of an old small town hardware store but also the full stock of a modern store. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

I think this is my favorite hardware shop in Ithaca. It’s easy to find someone to ask for help or advice, they are well stocked and so friendly!
