“I really can't say enough good things about the Ithaca harbor freight. I've shopped here 1-3 times a week for the past few years and I've always had a really amazing experience with not only my tool purchases, but more importantly the people working here.

I'll go out if my way to find an excuse to buy a specific tool from here instead of elsewhere because for a lack of better words the people working here are truly kind. I've had notably bad, insulting and seriously unprofessional interactions with workers at other similar types of stores over the years. Never once has a employee here been anything but exceptional to me. Nomatter what need at that moment in time. Employee turnover seems fairly low and whoever is doing the hiring when they do, is very good at choosing the right kind of people for this job.

Everyone working here doesn't have the same level of life or tool experience but Ive always been able to find really great advice if I need it. They're resourceful enough to find the person working who does know, if they dont.

These small interactions have always really brightened my day a bit, even if Im deep in a truly terrible, never ending project. The people here have always had my back and gone above and beyond to help equip me with the tools I need to finish the job.”

“I came here to get keys copied. ACE is the only place in Ithaca that actually copies keys on a manual cutter. If you go to Lowe's or any of those 7-11 kiosk type things you get a shitty laser cut from a scan and 9.9 times out of 10 they don't work! I had 5 copies made at ACE and every single one was perfect! I needed a few other things and the staff was super helpful getting me exactly what I needed! If you need things done right go to ACE!”

“I wanted to take a second to give credit where credit is due to the Ithaca New York Airgas location. I have done a lot of business with them over the last 2 years for various CO2 related items for Beer Brewing Etc. The competency and the customer service of employees has been less than stellar until recently. They are now extremely knowledgeable, passionate about making sure your purchases are correct and that you're taking care of in a speedy fashion. Obviously there are other options out there for CO2 and or Welding Supply but I'm glad I do business with them especially now. Keep up the great work and thank you for being a model of what customer service actually should be!”

Of course there is all the pleasant stuff, food & supplies for all animals, dirt, outdoor living and etc. They also have some home decor and surprises here and there. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are good. I like it here.”

“Did an online order with curbside pick-up. All good thru the online order process until I arrived to pick-up. Had to go in to get the order as was not brought out when I checked in. Used again and order was brought out and loaded within 5 minutes. Depends on the day. On my visit today I purchased some great priced plants and herbs.”

“Overall, it’s a great place, and I’ll be returning soon. I purchased a mid-2010 iMac, which works well. However, I noticed a discrepancy between the specs listed on the paper and the actual iMac. While most details are accurate, the CPU listed as an i5 is actually an i3. I suspect this was a typo. This mismatch is the reason I’m giving a 4-star rating instead of 5, as I bought the iMac under the assumption it had an i5 processor.”

“We've been here a few times. We normally go to the Vestal one. However after yesterday's adventure we'll most likely make this one our favorite store. The customer service we got was outstanding! We had an associate named Russ who went out of his way to answer all kinds of questions for us and found us a washer dryer combo that was IN STOCK and that we were happy with. However on our way out my daughter lost her favorite Hippo. We didn't realize till we got home. This particular Lowes is not close to us. We called and the associate on the phone said they'd found him and he'd be waiting for her return in the morning. We were NOT prepared for how we found him lol. A BIG THANK YOU to lowes and your associates for recognizing how important the little things are.”
