“Last summer Wayside did some major repairs to my car, which had been sideswiped while parked. Earlier this week I went to get into my car one morning and someone had wrecked the left (driver's side) mirror. Of course there was no note under the wipers with an apology, admission of guilt or offer to pay for the damage; get real - this is Queens, NY. The only thing I could be grateful for is that they only clipped the mirror and housing and did not damage the door or side of the car.
I took the car over to Wayside the next morning and Jimmy took a look at it. I asked him to take it easy on me as this was coming out of my pocket and not going through insurance - there would be no point to reporting it because of my $500 deductible on collision. Jimmy took a look at the car, wrote down the paint codes and asked for a small deposit to order and paint the mirror. Within two days he called me back and said my new mirror was ready to be put on and that it could be done while I waited. I went back to the shop the next morning and they installed it within 30 minutes while I waited inside the office. The new (motorized) mirror works fine, looks good and I was out the door for $150.00 + tax. Not bad, all things considered.
I like the folks at Wayside and am happy to recommend them. Like I said to one of the fellows there - you guys are like Doctors - I like you but I hope I don't see you again anytime soon. I'm sure they get that all the time.
10/24/25: UPDATE. The power trunk latch on my Impala stopped working. Dion gave me a good price and got the job done for me in an hour after they received the replacement part. These guys are the real deal! Fast, efficient and they get the job done right the first time - so no pesky repeat trips for the same thing. I wouldn't use anyone else.”

“Great place prompt service you can order at the counter or by phone.if you go in person at the warehouse in Jamaica and order your parts they usually have it in stock if they don't they can order it for you its usually the next day they can have it sometimes 2 but its usually the next day ..they can deliver your parys anywhere you want.great service friendly guys ..5 stars ..as a rule of thumb ALWAYS check whatever you buy ,sometimes like a bumper cover or a fender or hood sometimes have little dings on them its no fault of KSI.they get damaged being shipped to the warehouse.but thats rare that an item is damaged..there is a return policy posted at the counter in the jjamaica location,if you return an item because its damaged or wrong part or whatever they will give you a refund..simple and easy..5 stars all around for KSI. !!.”
