“Being from out in Suffolk county and working in Richmond Hill, I found this butcher shop a year ago while on a lunch break. The staff is very helpful and friendly. To the point of preparing meats and even seasoned up some fresh ground beef for burgers. It is always a pleasure to walk in and talk with the owner and son who are always there to help. I recommend this place if you're in the neighborhood.”
“We ordered a chicken cutlet, prosciutto and fresh mozzarella hero and a Italian hero. Wow, so fresh and delicious.

“Local butcher and small market catering to the local community. Very professional team of butchers in a clean environment that are ready to help. If you don't see what you want make sure to ask. They can also prep the goods however you want doing specialty grinds or cuts. This place is not fancy but it's got what you need and service is top tier. Especially good for Caribbean or Latin specialties.”
“The selection and quality are top notch. Meats and seasoning choices that are hardly available and did it say quality, dang. Goat, rabbit, oxtails, duck, pork, beef, chicken and the list goes on. A Queens gem.”
“I have celiac disease and brought my own bread because I also have a wheat allergy and they made my sandwich for me with the bread I brought them :)) they took it no problem and made me two great sandwich’s for under 15$. They are super sweet. And extremely reasonable will definitely come again and recommend to people with food sensitivities or allergies. They are also are extremely heavy handed with the cold cuts. Gave me roughly 1/4 lb or a little more combined on both the sandwiches total. Super delicious.”

“First off, I really like to give five stars to the places that I visit. But I just started going there regularly, and I need to see how things go. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable about meat. The store is clean and orderly, and well stocked. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the cut of roast that I wanted, so I took a better cut at a higher price, of course. But all said I am very pleased. “Cherry Valley is expensive, however, it's the only supermarket in the neighborhood that is walkable, unless you walk down to Golden Farms which is also another good one. If you want a hot Dominican breakfast or lunch, this is a great option. However, beware of expiration dates. They always have sales, which is awesome, and are always stocked and the place is super clean. Just be careful with what you are buying. I bought cereal on sale and the cereal was stale do to the bag being punctured. The staff here is great and always greeting you!”
“Very much like to shoo there for Halal meat, always fresh. Their downside is the green section (cabbage, scallion, parsley,cilantro, ect), always empty or old products.
They need to work on that section to make it a one place shopping for many dishes.”

“Im from Georgia and just moved to this area. This is my first time at this type of meat market and they actually have a good variety. The give you the option to replace certain items in plans which was much needed as I dont eat liver. I will be coming back for all my meat now!!”
