“I shop here weekly. They stock everything — meat, fruits, fish, flowers, household item etc. Their prices are always cheaper compared to Ideal, Key Food, C Town. Price wise, it’s unbeatable. Plus, very organized shelves and ample/massive parking space. Can’t ask more from a local grocery.”
“I am so impressed with how much the vegan section at Ferreira Foodtown has grown recently. It has been a struggle to find quality dairy-free options nearby, but I finally found some decent dairy-free cheese here that my daughter actually enjoys. It is such a relief to have a local grocery store that caters to plant-based diets and diverse dietary needs without having to drive to a specialty health store. We will definitely be coming back for our weekly shop. Thanks!”

“Very kind about letting my home health aide yI wait inside without buying anything. Hopefully, we'll meet again soon. Thanks again for keeping us warm, and not kidding us out of your restaurant.”
“Staff is polite, Store is very clean, Cashiers are always willing to help with bags..... Which in many stores the cashiers are just watching and seem to be in a rush.”
“One of the friendliest neighborhood supermarkets you can go to. Impeccable customer service. Great selection of obscure, hard to find items from other countries. Definitely worth a stop if you're new to the neighborhood”
“Grate people and product. Price is right. Parking is plus. Most of all it is 100% Halal. I recommend to all to shop here and get the right product that you need. Please come and check it out. Also every week fish sale.”
“This Bangladeshi supermarket offers a satisfactory shopping experience. Currently, their pricing for specific categories, such as fresh produce and dry groceries, is considered premium. ?”
“Cherry Valley is expensive, however, it's the only supermarket in the neighborhood that is walkable, unless you walk down to Golden Farms which is also another good one. If you want a hot Dominican breakfast or lunch, this is a great option. However, beware of expiration dates. They always have sales, which is awesome, and are always stocked and the place is super clean. Just be careful with what you are buying. I bought cereal on sale and the cereal was stale do to the bag being punctured. The staff here is great and always greeting you!”
“If you're Haitian or Caribbean, you'll probably be a client of Chez Mireille, you'll find the little thing you won't be expecting to find anywhere else Chez Mireille.”
“Great choices little pricey. They have good produce here and choices as well to hold you up for a couple of days if need or longer. People are friendly here and courteous too. Easy location to access and free parking as well. They also serve hot and cold food from there in house deli with a range of choices for your liking.”
“It's one of my favorite places to shop when I want to stay local. Also clean, full of a variety of different products, the stay is very helpful, and there is parking on the scene. I do come early in the morning since they don't have many registers open, and that can be an issue for me. Otherwise, this is one of my local go-to places”
“Nice local supermarket with a good selection of produce and everyday essentials. The store is clean and organized and checkout is usually quick. Just be sure to check expiration dates on a few items, but overall it’s a convenient place to shop.”
“Good service, the guys are attentive, it is clean, it has products from all countries, there are already organic products, now we Ecuadorians no longer have to go to Roosbelth to look for products, and the best thing is they give job opportunities to many Hispanics. Hispanics helping Hispanics.”

“Well organized, clean and tidy and has everything possible and more. Fresh meat choices, including ox-tail.
Store may be under a little renovation, but I was definitely impressed. A place to love.
Note: I would pick up my mother who lives in the Apt building nearby to go shopping elsewhere. Got caught in rain and ventured into this store by mistake. Now I know better, my mom should shop there only.”
“Always great. I have a double stroller and they are always accommodating me. I usually only go here for fruits , veggies and formula. Great staff. The hours online might be off so call if you're not sure they pick up.
Still a great store, wonderful customer service, everything is always fresh and properly rotated.”
“I recently visited and had a fantastic shopping experience! The store was well-organized, making it easy to find what I needed. The fresh produce section was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables that looked vibrant and inviting.
The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions I had. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the store, which made my shopping experience much more enjoyable.
Additionally, I found their prices to be very competitive!”
“As a 2-year customer,The customer service is impeccable! Family-friendly!The beer is the coldest on the block well maybe a few blocks.Beer and regular drinks from everywhere around the world.Wowman:pIf close Definitely stop by you won't regret it!!”
“I recently visited Queens Valley meat department, and I was thoroughly impressed with the outstanding customer service and professionalism displayed throughout my experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with a warm and friendly attitude, making me feel welcome.
At the grocery section, the aisles were well-organized and stocked, and a staff member quickly assisted me when I had a question about a specific product. They were knowledgeable about the store's inventory and offered helpful suggestions for similar items, which saved me time and effort.
The pharmacy section was equally impressive. The pharmacist took the time to explain my prescription, answered my questions about dosage, and even provided some helpful health tips. It was clear that they genuinely cared about my well-being and wanted to ensure I had a positive experience.
Overall, the professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional. The staff was not only courteous but also efficient, making the entire shopping experience seamless and stress-free. I highly recommend this store for anyone seeking top-notch customer service in both the grocery and pharmacy departments.”
“Very helpful this quarantine! Practices social distancing very well. Good quality items and great suggestions when shopping. Proud to be in this neighborhood! Groceries like Poshora are very reliable for halal meat and desi groceries. I haven't seen the owners in a few years, but they are very nice and humanitarian, and the manager has been there fr the past 30 years. In times of crisis, they did not raise prices, which is appreciated.”
“I was amazed and surprised to see a Keyfood that is still standing lol (age revelation!) ? Anywhoooo...maybe this is what we really need to get back to regarding food sales.”
“Key Food has improved from the prior years shopping there. They have even more space since it utilized some of its storage area as additional aisles. They even added a self checkout area which is a plus. The deli is always fresh and they have a solid selection of dessert items. There is also ample parking. :)”

“I miss this place so much. Haven't been to Jamaica in almost 18 years. Used to go here for beef patties and Carib/Presidente/OE. Run by really cool Arab guys back then. As soon as I can get back to NY I have to hit this place up for the memories.”
“What was King Kullen over 50 years ago and another or two in between has become a nice neighborhood grocery. Comparable to Met Food on Eliot Avenue off 80th Street in Middle Village, Vitelio's has a good selection, good service and much more convenient for those living in this part of Forest Hills. The recently rerouted Q 23 makes it easier to get there and back from where I am.”
“Went there for the first time to buy 2 rotisserie chickens, The guy at the deli counter told me there gonna be atleast 20 mins, So well worth the wait, haven’t a had a great rotisserie chicken from any supermarket in a long time and there chickens are amazing, well worth the wait and price of them to”
