“I shop here weekly. They stock everything — meat, fruits, fish, flowers, household item etc. Their prices are always cheaper compared to Ideal, Key Food, C Town. Price wise, it’s unbeatable. Plus, very organized shelves and ample/massive parking space. Can’t ask more from a local grocery.”
“I am so impressed with how much the vegan section at Ferreira Foodtown has grown recently. It has been a struggle to find quality dairy-free options nearby, but I finally found some decent dairy-free cheese here that my daughter actually enjoys. It is such a relief to have a local grocery store that caters to plant-based diets and diverse dietary needs without having to drive to a specialty health store. “Cherry Valley is expensive, however, it's the only supermarket in the neighborhood that is walkable, unless you walk down to Golden Farms which is also another good one. If you want a hot Dominican breakfast or lunch, this is a great option. However, beware of expiration dates. They always have sales, which is awesome, and are always stocked and the place is super clean. Just be careful with what you are buying. I bought cereal on sale and the cereal was stale do to the bag being punctured. The staff here is great and always greeting you!”

“Great choices little pricey. They have good produce here and choices as well to hold you up for a couple of days if need or longer. People are friendly here and courteous too. Easy location to access and free parking as well. They also serve hot and cold food from there in house deli with a range of choices for your liking.”
“It's one of my favorite places to shop when I want to stay local. Also clean, full of a variety of different products, the stay is very helpful, and there is parking on the scene. I do come early in the morning since they don't have many registers open, and that can be an issue for me. Otherwise, this is one of my local go-to places”

Store may be under a little renovation, but I was definitely impressed. A place to love.
Note: I would pick up my mother who lives in the Apt building nearby to go shopping elsewhere. Got caught in rain and ventured into this store by mistake. Now I know better, my mom should shop there only.”

I haven't seen the owners in a few years, but they are very nice and humanitarian, and the manager has been there fr the past 30 years. In times of crisis, they did not raise prices, which is appreciated.”

“Key Food has improved from the prior years shopping there. They have even more space since it utilized some of its storage area as additional aisles. They even added a self checkout area which is a plus. The deli is always fresh and they have a solid selection of dessert items. There is also ample parking. :)”

“What was King Kullen over 50 years ago and another or two in between has become a nice neighborhood grocery. Comparable to Met Food on Eliot Avenue off 80th Street in Middle Village, Vitelio's has a good selection, good service and much more convenient for those living in this part of Forest Hills. The recently rerouted Q 23 makes it easier to get there and back from where I am.”
