“This excellent gem is nestled in the heart of the high peaks region of the Adirondacks in Keene Valley. Centrally located to pristine hiking/climbing/skiing/snowshoeing. Warm, welcoming, knowledgeable staff. Spotlessly clean!!!! Downstairs, a roaring fireplace, surrounded by Stickley-style chairs with ottomans, made for an extremely welcoming post-adventure relaxation spot to share adventure stories with other like minded travelers, who quickly become your friends. :D Well appointed kitchen upstairs with everything you could need, including travel mugs! Super dog friendly. I am happy to report the beds are perfect. Rooms are well furnished with natural wood furniture with numerous places to hang your gear. If you are looking for like minded souls, who love adventure, nature and wildlife, welcome home. It was so much fun to stay here, I will, without a single hesitation, go back again. The owner was very kind and spent time sharing with me her favorite places to X-country ski, so I landed in a quiet wooded powdery snowy Narnia and had a great adventure. :D (Thank you for that!!~ ) Very good value.
