“Awesome pet store. You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in his store. If you need pet supplies, this is the place. Its also cool to be able to just hang out for an hour talking to the owner as he does his daily work. This is the true essence of a mom and pop store!”

“This place has a great variety of pet toys, foods, and snacks and I thought the prices would be high due to being a small shop but they were decent. I am visiting from Rochester and had to stop in for our dog who likes to destroy her toys and found a few high quality options. I should have taken more pictures but now you’ll just have to visit in your own. Shop small!!!”

“Great people and service, but the dog food is terribly organized. Spent 20 minutes searching for a certain puppy food before realizing they just don't stock it despite having the adult version in great supply. The food in question was Purina One True Instinct, if anyone is wondering.
They had a great supply of things most places don't have for various pets and real bone treats.”

I felt so comfortable with him being in Omar's care whose evident affection and commitment towards the pets reassured me. I immediately loved Shannon - she was so warm and kind.Walter's joy was palpable as he found a companion in Joey, another beagle, to romp around with. He emerged from his day at daycare a transformed pup - happily tired and, dare I say, even better behaved!”

I love how neat and organized her place is and I absolutely love that I can bring my dogs in and give them a bath! The set up is so cute and she has lots of choices for the shampoo, conditioner and extras to pamper your pup! You can tell she loves what she does! Everyone that works there is always so nice. I highly recommend supporting Island Pets!”
“The new bioactive supply area has a massive and well priced array of natural tank building supplies. I also noticed that every animal in the shop was well cared for and healthy. It's rare to see husbandry standards this high in the hobby, especially with fish and reptiles.”

I don't know if this place is under new management but, we went in to possibly purchase some fish today, 8-11-24. The young man with the beard came right over to us asking if we needed help. He was extremely helpful, he answered all our questions, he offered recommendations about the care of certain fish. And the fish tanks were SOOOOOOO CLEAN !!! At checkout, the cashier was friendly and courteous and had a great sense of humor. Wow...what a difference ! We haven't been in there in over a year because of horrible service. Kudos to whoever took over. I wish we could have gotten their names because they BOTH deserve recognition for their outstanding service.”

“This is the best way I have found to get the corals I want at reasonable prices. I love the auction sales style. Gives me the control over what im willing to pay and often gets me a cheap frag that becomes a treasured fav! The livestock is healthy, typically opens shortly after introduction and has survived some unfortunate LPS alk instability where corals from other places did not.The online service - especially Randy- goes above and beyond during the entire process, from sales to ensuring safe arrival - and even with prompt answers to tank and coral questions anytime. With all the shipping challenges - like weather, work schedules, etc., this is important to a landlocked reefer. BTW, ARC's shipping prices during sales are the best I've seen.Even when I don't intend to buy, I love getting notified about an upcoming ARC Auction and will often watch. I usually end up buying. Love this store!”

“Best place for dog boarding! I don’t leave reviews often, but after having my dog for five years and taking my dog here pretty much the whole time, I felt I needed to leave a review after our last vacation. They are always so happy to see my dog come and sad to see him go. I know I hate boarding my dog because I hate leaving him behind, but I have peace of mind knowing he’s in good hands with the workers. I do not take my dog to day care so I can’t comment on that. Thank you!!”

I warned her about his behavior (he doesn’t love being touched/groomed around his face) and she really exceeded my expectations!!
