The first time I took my cat here, we came to the awful conclusion that we would have to put him down, and despite being a first time patient, they treated him and me as if we had been a part of the Symphony family for years. Every step along the way, they gave me all the information with the perfect mix of empathy and pragmatism, and gave me as much time as I needed to process emotionally and think. They are also very transparent about pricing and understand that the cost of care can be a major factor in what kind of path forward is possible. A general check-up was $110, cheaper than a chain like Bond and with 100% more care and humanity in every interaction.”

“I had an emergency with my handful of Bengal cat lol. A friend recommended Riverside Animal Hospital. First, very convenient- two blocks from my apartment, big plus. Second, everyone is so welcoming and nice. From the front desk to the vet staff and doctor. I saw Doctor Kaela Toback, very knowledgeable and caring, which is a BIG plus for any animal parent. I highly recommend this facility. And unfortunately, fortunately, I will be returning soon; I'm SURE.”
“We had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Chan and his team. From the moment he met Giggio, Dr. Chan was incredibly caring, patient, and professional. Since this was our first visit to the clinic and Giggio has several health issues, he took his time to listen carefully, understand his medical history, and really look at the bigger picture of what could be contributing to his health concerns. We never felt rushed, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about understanding Giggio as a whole.
The nurse was also extremely caring, gentle, and attentive with Giggio. What really stood out to me was how comfortable he seemed there. Giggio is usually very nervous at the vet, but surprisingly, he wasn’t nervous during this visit, which meant a lot to me and says so much about the calm and caring environment they created for him.
This clinic was recommended to us, and we are so happy we found it. I would highly recommend Dr. Chan and his team to anyone looking for compassionate, thorough, and professional veterinary care. We are truly grateful for the way they cared for Giggio. ❤”

“Right before Memorial Day weekend, my cat came down with a high fever, lethargy, and was not eating. My cat's primary vet at the time, would not see her until the following day, and Steinway Court Vet managed to see her as a new patient in such short amount of time, same day. Dr. Ordas was incredibly patient and kind. My cat's case was mysterious and required a bit of testing over a couple weeks to get to where we are now. While not every test was performed here, Dr. Ordas recommended and guided me every step of the way. At one point, the Vet called me after hours to check in and recommend treatment. Always checking in. The staff as well! Can't recommend this vet enough!
We're a couple weeks into her new treatment and I'm excited to say she's doing so well. We've returned to a sense of normalcy and I am a customer here for life.”

“I brought my Sphynx cat, Nyusha, to Dr. Max Lotovsky yesterday, and this visit left a much bigger impression on me than I expected.
Absolutely wonderful lady at the front desk was so genuinely warm and welcoming that we immediately felt comfortable. The entire team was kind and caring, and when I became emotional during the visit, they were incredibly supportive and even managed to make me laugh.
Dr. Lotovsky spent a significant amount of time with me, patiently answering my many questions and explaining everything thoroughly. What I appreciated most was that I never felt pressured into additional tests or procedures just to increase the bill. He recommended only what he felt was actually necessary and took the time to explain why.
His honesty really stood out to me. He explained that the procedure my cat may need would be less traumatic with a CO₂ laser than with the equipment currently available at his clinic. Although the CO₂ option is not currently available there, he recommended that approach because he genuinely believed it would be better for my cat. He could have simply proceeded with the equipment he had, but he chose to put my cat’s well-being first.
After some very disappointing experiences with veterinary clinics in the past, I don’t give my trust easily. Dr. Lotovsky earned mine.

But I have nothing but positive things to say about this veterinary. The 2 vet techs Ezra & Christy were great. Very gentle with my dog. Along with Dr. Soliman. Every one was very communicative and very helpful. 100% recommend. On top of the amazing care it’s very reasonably priced.”

“So grateful to Adam the vet tech , the friendly people at the front desk and Dr. Nunemacher for taking such sweet care of my 6 yr old cat Purnie. Although the office is not in my neighborhood, I specifically sought this veterinary office out because they have reasonable prices. Complete blood and urine Tests are not inexpensive. No way around that, but the care with which they were done was obvious and made it less of a trauma for Purnie. My experience was all Very calm and caring, and of course thorough. Got a full blood work up and urine taken, nails trimmed, vaccines done, tutorial on how to brush teeth all while the Dr. explained everything and answered every single question which made us feel valued. No sense of being rushed.
Highly recommend this office , especially having had bad experiences at other high priced boutique offices. Appreciate that they are open second Saturdays. it was not crowded during the time I was there. great management.”
“The doctors and nurses here were absolutely wonderful and took such great care of my Thea. They were incredibly patient and gentle with her. My puppy got so nervous that she had an accident, but the male nurse didn’t blame her at all. Instead, he comforted her and helped her feel less anxious. When it was time for her shot, they gave her some delicious canned food, which kept her happy and distracted. She finished her vaccination without any pain or stress at all. She went from being nervous to actually loving everyone at this clinic. Such an amazing place with truly caring people. I highly recommend this clinic!”

She recently saw us through a tough time when we had to make the terrible decision to put our dogs down due to old age and illness. She was supportive and compassionate throughout this difficult time for our family. She cried with us. I am happy to say that we are back with our new dog, Mabel. She squeezed me in to see my two newly adopted cats when I found out one of them was given to me sick. She examined them both and prescribed medicine, taking the time to teach me how to administer and tips on how to keep the cats calm and how to prevent myself from getting scratched! She has since been very kind to answer all my follow up worry some questions and has also taken care of my dog. If you’ve been searching for a vet, I highly recommend you put your trust in Dr. Pozo!”

“Dr. Jeong is wonderful! He is incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely takes the time to explain everything. I could honestly listen to him talk about my dog forever.
I originally visited specifically for my dog’s health certificate, and Dr. Jeong was incredibly helpful in walking me through the entire process. He explained everything so clearly that, for the first time, I felt like I truly understood what was required and why.
Even though I was only there for the health certificate, Dr. Jeong also took the time to discuss my dog’s overall health and answer my questions. I genuinely enjoyed the visit so much that the one-hour trip from Brooklyn felt completely worth it.

“Dr. Pellegrino and her entire team have been truly amazing in caring for my senior dogs. From the moment you walk in, everyone is so kind, patient, and genuinely compassionate. You can feel how much they care, not just about the pets, but about the people who love them too.
They took such gentle, thoughtful care of my dog Littleboy throughout his senior years, and I will always be grateful for the love and respect they showed him. During one of the hardest times, their support meant more to me than I can fully express.
