Katie and the team have been fantastic and are still helping us after Drogo has been home. Special shoutout not only to Katie, but Kayla and Will also. Drogo loves and misses all of you!
Drogo is an 8-month Cane Corso puppy. When I arrived at the store to drop him off for training, Drogo was lunging and growling at every person who entered. It was dangerous and not to mention embarrassing. I’ve had to leave other dog-friendly places because of the same awful behavior. What a mess we were.
When I returned to Maximum K9 for a demo after 2 weeks, Katie and Kayla trained me with Drogo and then took us into the same store, this time more bustling and crowded than at drop-off. Drogo and I were able to walk around calmly, he was not reactive at all, and I was able to put him into a down position and he stayed. It was like I was seeing a DIFFERENT DOG! Wow!
I could go on and on with examples and stories and I honestly can’t say enough great things, but the bottom line is that this was one of the best decisions we’ve made and we had an amazing experience. Drogo is a GOOD BOY and he was loved and well cared for by all of the staff. I am now confident and proud to walk with Drogo. I highly recommend Maximum K9 and we will be returning for ongoing classes. Thank you for teaching us and for loving Drogo. We will see you again soon!”

“I had never even heard of Central Park Puppies when I began searching for my Cavapoo. The site came up when I did a Google search. I never knew anyone who used them, had no referrals, and no background. All I know is that from the second I contacted Central Park Puppies, I was provided feedback, pictures, videos, etc. I dealt with Ash and she was a pleasure- her responses were quick, she had all the details I wanted, and even reached out to the breeder for additional videos of our pup. I would HIGHLY recommend Central Park Puppies! My husband and I kind of jumped into our purchase, but every step of the way was simple, straightforward, and pleasurable. It has been a little over a month that we have had our pup and I still keep in touch with Ash. She loves getting updates for all the pups she places in homes, which shows how much she cares about these puppies. “This is the best store in NY state if not the US. I have gone to many stores and Tropical Island aquarium has it all. From rare and exotic fish to the highest end coral. For beginners it is where you must go to start off in the hobby. The reason why I say it’s the best because they have the most competitive prices for the nicest coral and exotic fish beats the highly marketed online sellers and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.”

“Pawfect Pet Den (PPD) was highly recommended to me and I am grateful for it. Love bringing my dogs here. They are super supporters of adopted pets too. Brought my newly adopted senior Yorkie in for her nails and paw hairs to be trimmed to keep her from sliding on the floor. They kindly offered to do it between appoints if I didn't mind waiting. After that great service I made an appointment for my Chihuahua. The groomers are so experienced they can clip my Chihuahua's nails while she's putting up a loud fuss. The owners are kind, caring, and professional. They carry a variety of quality foods, treats, and pet necessities. I highly recommend PPD.”

“I brought my 7 month old mini golden doodle to Doggie Dons for grooming. When we arrived we were invited into the back while Don finished shaving another dog. My puppy was nervous and shaking at first but calmed down after a few minutes. When it was her turn she was calm and relaxed. They did a great job and when I picked her up a few hours later I was very pleased with her appearance. I will definitely be back in the future.”

“I've been to PetPort a number of times and have had the same experience every time. The employees are friendly and personable. They are open late and in my case they carry a very popular brand of cat toy. The "yeow" brand of catnip cat toys are some of the best catnip toys on the market. They are hard to find at chain pet stores like PetSmart and petco, but PetPort always has them. Shopping was quick and easy. Give them a visit you will not be disappointed.”

“I adopted Molly from Long Island Feline Adoption Center in January 2023 and Im glad i did and its been nothing but joy and love ever since. Molly is my first cat and I definitely was a bit nervous as I only had dogs previously and I knew the breeds were definitely different. As soon as I arrived at Feline Adoption Center Cheryll took her time to get to know me and my living situation and what I was looking for and matched me with Molly. I came in on a Monday and visited every day that week and went home with Molly that Saturday. Molly is such a sweet, beautiful and well behaved cat. Im so lucky to have her and Im so thankful to Cheryll for matching us Molly is what was missing from my life. Molly is so comfortable in her new home and its only been 5 months and I know that love and joy is only going to continue to grow as I hope she lives a long & happy life. “I have to be honest, when looking for a rehab I skipped this one because of the low stars. The one we picked was awful. I had to pull my father out. a friend then recommended Island. When I first walked in, it was 10pm. I noticed how absolutely clean the facility was. The staff was welcoming. They made my father feel so welcomed. Everyone is so nice. They communicate every aspect of my fathers care. The physical therapists are great. The bathrooms are clean and stocked. My father is a picky eater and they do not stop trying different food so that he eats. the nurses are awesome. I can't say enough how great they all are. Not one issue. The staff answers quickly to the call button. They make sure my father is comfortable. If you are looking for a rehab for a loved one, I strongly recommend Island.”

The wait to be seen was minimal (I went on a Monday, the wait may be longer on the weekend), and the vets were so courteous. I will be coming back!”

“The ladies at the Grooming saloon, very understanding and caring towards my cocker spaniel. They were very patient. they took into consideration to cut his fur first, and then wash him then groom him so that he wouldn’t be so anxious. I know this all sounds just what they should do but they were very understanding. also look like they did not rush just to get them out.”

There's always something interesting and unique to find, and the prices are fantastic for New York. The products are fresh and high-quality, and the atmosphere feels like the cozy stores in Europe. “When we decided on getting a waterfall in our backyard, we started looking at reviews and calling companies. Some were so expensive it felt overwhelming and like we were buying a house, not a waterfall. Another two companies kept telling us they would get back to us and never did. Then we called Aquarium Design Network New York, Inc. and talked with Darian first over the phone and then in person. From the first phone call, we could tell that he knew his business. He was professional, polite and cared about what we wanted. When we first met Darian, he was on time, knowledgeable, caring, and didn't try to sell us things we didn't need, but gave us great ideas we never thought of. Darian didn't just listened to what we wanted, but the way we wanted it. We agreed on a very reasonable price, set a starting date and a few days later, we met Darian's staff, Phil and Andrew. When they first introduced themselves, they were on time, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and they took great care in the vision we wanted. They shared some great ideas and we were so confident in what they were doing. We saw they had such a passion and loved what they did, so we just let them create it. What a beautiful creation they made! They went above and beyond and it shows. All through the project, Darian always kept in touch, answered all our questions and always sent us a text message to let us know what time the workers would be arriving and even stopping by to make sure everything was going smoothly and it did. The whole process was stress free and unbelievably true. We, our family and friends all love it in the day and night!! We wouldn't use anyone else and would highly recommended Aquarium Design Network New York, Inc.”

I still believe Petsmart as a whole should really evaluating the methods in which some of these animals are obtained. Responsible breeding is one thing, but there are still too many people who are not doing right by the animals. They need to be sure they are not supporting anyone like that.”
