“I called this place in a panic bc of Google search and rose answered the phone. She has the sweetest voice. I had just come across a lost dog and was looking for help on what to do. She checked for a chip, took pictures, called around , shared post, checked Francis out and made sure he was going to be fed and secure on his journey back to his owner. Truly a life saver and friendly person that owns the title city of goodneighbors! Thank you so much and truly the shop is a gem and has way way more than I expected will be back for sure! “My dog oliver has been going here since he was a pup. A pure bred boxer full of energy and zoomies. Omar, mark, and the whole crew are THEE BEST. Oliver runs excited on the days he goes to daycare and it makes me feel so much more comfortable sending him there. Oliver is very loved there and cuddles with all the other dogs and the whole crew. Constantly picking him up when he is sleeping on a crew members lap. He is exhausted when we get home from work/daycare and it makes my day so much easier. I would recommend animal outfitters to anyone!”

“I love coming to this location my dog has a skin issue right now so I have to bath him twice a week and their bath area is all ways clean and the bath prices aren't bad, I wish other locations were that clean and nice. “The customer service at the Petco in Williamsville and the Petco in Amherst is outstanding :-) I cannot say enough good things about it. This afternoon I called the Williamsville location to see if the loaches I was waiting for were in stock - Melissa in the aquarium department was so pleasant and helpful on the phone, even as the store was clearly very busy. I stopped in the store after work during rush hour and Melissa was again just above and beyond helpful. I had just missed a 50% off aquarium sale - but she let me know approximately when I can look out for the next 50% off sale - so I will not miss it this time. Melissa also took quite a bit of her time to discuss 2 of my aquarium set-ups (I have 10 aquariums and I always appreciate advice and tips as I am learning). She is very knowledgeable. I have a lot of bettas and cichlids - and we were discussing caves and hiding spots. She recommended trying out hamster/guinea pig plastic tubes as another affordable option, on top of the rocks/driftwood/caves I already have. What a great idea! As long as I have been into aquariums - that had never even occurred to me. Thank you, Melissa :-) My African Dwarf Frogs especially love the plastic tunnels/tubes I added to their tank. I added them to 3 of my other tanks and the loaches, bettas, and cichlids love the new hiding spots as well. In addition- Petco has an awesome aquarium plant selection! A lot of the staff at Petco have multiple pets - as do I - and it is always a fun experience to talk with employees at Petco who are as passionate about their pets as I am. I had a great conversation with the girl at the check-out this evening as well. I was buying a gecko screen cage along with my aquarium supplies - and she also had recently added a gecko to her pet family - so we discussed what we had learned so far, tips on holding geckos when they are young, and so on. Also - they matched the online price for me when I bought the cage, since I wanted to see it in the store before I decided to buy it. Everyone who works at this Petco is just so friendly and helpful - and there is always a manager nearby for additional or complicated questions. This goes for the Amherst location as well. I visit both locations frequently, and would recommend shopping at both of them for any of your pet needs.”

“This location is always friendly and welcoming! Great selection of dog supplies/food/treats. Staff always pay attention to my 3 dogs. Today, my Pekingese chose a new ball from the toy aisle and proceeded to push/kick it all over the store. (great fun on a rainy day with no other dogs in the store) The staff was all playing with him and helping him retrieve his new ball when it got stuck. I only wish I would have thought to take a video!In addition, this store has been extremely generous over the years as we did fundraising for the creation (and now for the maintenance) of Lancaster Unleashed/Como Lake Bark Park. 2 paws up!”

“Loved my experience here. Not only is it my typical place where I shop for toys and food for my American bully, it is where I took him to get groomed for the first time. Everyone says not to take your dog to a chain when it comes to grooming, but they were so great with him And truly loved him. And patient as he is a rescue and it was his first time! They said they almost didn't call me to pick him up because they liked him so much Lol. They were not shy to recommend some training Classes either which I thought was very transparent and kind of them- he does need some refinement now that he's in his forever home! Rex was super clean and super happy upon pick up and price is extremely fair. We will be returning.”

“The staff here is amazing!! Super nice and wonderfully knowledge too! They let the kids feed the Koi fish and my kids LOVED it oh and the parrots and birds too. They had so many ideas and suggestions about getting started and we're great with my kids!!! I would highly recommend it. The store is unconventional in it's set up and look but worth it.”
