“This historic Olympic Suiss Chateau style Inn really gives the vibe of a Winter Olympic Village. The views are amazing and the location is perfect, right on the edge of town, walking distance to everything. The Inn was actually opened by a legendary Winter Olympian and resident of Lake Placid. Also, check out the really cool 1930 Ford! It's more like a really nice Motor Inn. The service could be a little more attentive and the breakfast needs a serious upgrade. Don't bother with the prepackaged crap, take the walk to Origin Coffee.”

“We had our intimate wedding at Lake Placid Lodge this past weekend, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. The setting was breathtaking, with the lodge’s rustic elegance providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. The views of Lake Placid and the Adirondacks created a magical atmosphere that left us, and our guests, in awe.

The food was exceptional—each dish was beautifully prepared, delicious, and far beyond our expectations. It truly made our wedding feel even more special. The staff was phenomenal from start to finish, always attentive and available whenever we needed anything throughout the weekend. “Our room at Main Street was great. Very comfortable and central to town. We had 1 minor issue where we didn’t have an extra roll of toilet paper and we ran out. We called the main number to get some more, but no one answered. We went to the main hotel and were given more rolls. We also tried to call the main number for something else and the phone wasn’t answered. My one other comment was that the blinds in the room were thin and while it made the room bright, my personal preference at night is to have it darker. Maybe adding some blackout shades to the rooms would be helpful for folks like me. Otherwise, we loved the room and location and will check you out the next time we come to lake placid.”

“My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. They left us the sweetest card, balloons and a small bottle of wine to celebrate. The view from our room was incredible. We really enjoyed the coziness and amenities. The location was awesome, right in the middle of everything. We had no issues with the parking pass. Will be back again when we visit Lake Placid!”

“Nice place. Rooms needed to be aired out but the staff were nice. Pool was good if you want to use the sauna it take an hour to heat up and is normally locked to keep kids out so you have to go to the front desk to get the key. Breakfast was a typical hotel Breakfast.”

“Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. When entering our room it smelled very clean and was immaculate. Comfortable bed and my husband has never slept better while traveling. Beautiful location and preferred it isn’t
directly in town, but in walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel for business and personal travel.”
