Pet Care

Broadway Veterinary Clinic: Mount Pleasant Kristi DVM
5915 Broadway, LancasterI highly recommend Alliance Animal Hospital to those looking for compassionate and thorough veterinary care! Dr. Mineo has cared for our wheaten terrier since she was a puppy. Our dog has very sensitive skin and after months of frustration with her licking her paws at home, we brought our dog in for an exam. Dr. Mineo suggested allergy injections and within days we saw an improvement! I couldn’t believe the difference! The team at Alliance is always very professional and gentle with our dog. I’m always amazed at how Louise runs out of the car, excited to see her friends at Alliance, especially considering I have to carry her out of the car to go to the groomer! Thank you Dr. Mineo and everyone at Alliance Animal Hospital!

Alliance Animal Hospital
5915 Broadway, LancasterThe techs and doctors at the Lancaster office are knowledgeable, caring, and very empathetic. My daughter's beloved bunny is old and unfortunately he is entering the end of life. The doctor was so understanding and sympathetic to my daughter, and offered us advice to keep him comfortable. I highly recommend to take your exotic animals here. We also bring our cats to the Williamsville office and have the same experience. We had a very sick little baby last summer and the techs and doctors took very good care of him.

Pet Sitting & Training

Paws Canine Activity Center
5395 Genesee St, LancasterWe love paws as my dog buddy goes when fetch n catch is full. They rotate the same staff between the two places so my dog is familiar with the people. The staff is always very welcoming to myself and my dog which makes it easy to leave him for the day!

The Yelling Goat
205 Central Ave, LancasterI went to the Yelling Goat with a close friend for my Birthday. We had a server named Ava. She immediately made us feel welcome and was very informative about the choices. The food was perfect, the atmosphere perfect, and the drinks were perfect. Ava understood exactly what we wanted and was available throughout the evening. I would recommend anyone to go to this restaurant , the food, and the server Ava made it all an excellent birthday visit there. We will be back

Southern Belle Diner
3575 Walden Ave, LancasterWaitstaff were excellent - polite, fast, and checked in often.
This place will be a go-to spot for me. It is reasonably priced, and they deliver a tasty, reliable, quality breakfast.
The physical space was a bit small, but clean, functional, and cozy enough. If you have a larger party, or it's busier, this could come into play. Good late 90's early 00's country playlist was solid.
The food was very good, standard, diner breakfast fare. Everything was cooked well, especially the hash browns which were the perfect blend of crispy and creamy. Eggs were cooked to the requested level of doneness. The biscuit was fluffy and tasty.
My one small critique is the Italian sausage they use for breakfast. You will never see that below the Mason-Dixon ?. I think thats also why the sausage gravy was a little flat and missing that salty, sage, and smokey flavor of a true breakfast sausage. Didn't take away much from the overall experience, though I will be switching to bacon.

Brazen Brewing
5839 Genesee St, Lancasterfood and beer are top shelf. the male servers are decent. I think the female servers were hired for how they look in uniforms's skintight bike shorts rather than their competence or skill. its notable the men's bike shorts are conspicuously absent.
