“Great items! Beautiful religious gifts, gifts for sacraments, cards, prayer cards for wallets, and other wonderful items! Best Catholic gift store I've been to on LI!!!”
“I thought Yonkers was lost cause because I felt that it did not have much... Then I found B & N! I was elated and bought a few items! The only thing is that I am looking for a particular book, but I saw that they have it online... And I became a member...I LOVE BOOKS!”
“Dr Nerens not only works efficiently, but also takes the time to explain what he is doing while working on your teeth. I felt confident in his ability to resolve my teeth issues.”
“Nothing better than an old fashioned mega-bookstore! Great selection for every genre and excellent magazine selections. Great location although they can do a better job at making their parking lot access a bit more visible and known to customers whom may not be familiar with the area.”
“The most wonderful customer service! Etty and Yossi are the most patient and caring people you’ll meet and will go above and beyond to make you happy. We are so grateful to have Judaica of great neck and so thankful for making our shopping super easy and pleasant!”
“I was welcomed by a worker there as soon as I stepped into the store. They have a large selection of books. I could be there for hours. The workers are very friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well organized. I will definitely shop there again and recommend the place.”
“One of the few B & N Kitchen locations. Located inside Barnes & Noble with an outdoor area for the warmer months. Starbucks Cafe attached to the book store and the restaurant, serving coffees, teas and treats. Restaurant menu is on the limited side, but some quality options. They don't do the avocado toast since covid.... wish upon a star that they would bring it back. Alcohol selection is decent.... yes.... they serve alcohol.... at a book store. Good parking, which is free.”
“Bronx River Books is a great independent store. Going there is always a pleasant experience. The owners are welcoming and add the personal touch that only indie bookstores have. You will almost always find what you are looking for; if you don't, there is no need to worry. They happily order it for you. Highly recommend this store.”
“Very friendly staff, clean layout, and wide range of selection. Small, comfortable seating area towards the back along with a collection of children's toys and lots of puzzles.”

“Dogwood is truly one of the best hidden gems in Greenwich- I stop here every time I'm in town! The bookstore itself is excellent, with a great balance of religious books and contemporary releases (they always have current bestsellers). I tend to come here for Christmas and Easter gifts, because they always have a gorgeous selection to choose from- around Christmas, there are ornaments, decorative objects, Nativity sets, candles, and a huge range of other great gifts. There are also a lot of small toys and gifts that are perfect for children. The curation of the store is fantastic- it's perfect for items you won't find anywhere else, and it tends to be pretty affordable.”
“Love this book store! There are so many books and literature that are for all ages! Would definitely recommend if looking to buy any Adventist/Christian material.”

8 Grigg St A, Greenwich“So happy to have accidentally found this gem! One of the loveliest and best-stocked locally owned bookstores ever. Diane is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and contagiously enthusiastic about her books. Her staff is very welcoming and friendly too.”
“Service was great, very helpful. Showed me several different options, they were busy, but they took their time to help me. Got a card there, once less stop. Then wrapping the gift took another stop! I'm not sure about the doll I bought. Maybe a little over priced .”
“I needed birthday gifts for two young girls and had no idea of what to get for them. I found the Toy Box online and drove up this morning. The woman in the store (sorry, but I never got your name) was extremely helpful and friendly. I was able to get gifts for both and I feel confident that the girls will enjoy them. This will now be my go-to store whenever I need to purchase toys.”
“Every book that I think — oh, I should buy that for my child/partner/neighbor/friend — I see it the next time I’m at Picture Book. Expertly curated, ever-changing, always relevant and unexpected. A great local bookshop.”

441 E Fordham Rd, Bronx“A beautiful, serene campus, with beauty and architectural style in a park-like setting, situated in the middle of the Bronx!! I haven’t attended classes here, but it’s reputation precedes itself!Division 1 NCAA sports and a gorgeous stadium! The Gabelli business school seemed to be very well equipped with Bloomberg terminals and a seemingly state of the art facility! Overall my impression of the school was very impressive.”

818 Glen Cove Ave, Glen Head“My son transferred from a Suny School to Manhattanville after his sophomore year. I cant say enough good things about this school. Its truly a gem. The campus is beautiful, its in one of the most prestigious areas in the country. It has a very good sports program, d3. What is most impressive to me is the small class sizes and professors who will do all they can to help you succeed. Your safe here, you are with good people and of course they have White Plains NY to have fun at night. The bus will take you there and pick you up. They are pouring money into the school. My suggestion is to visit the school, especially if you are interested in playing sports there. You will be treated well and you will be set up to succeed. My only regret is not sending him here for all four years.”

9 Theodore Fremd Ave, Rye“Was headed to Rye to get some film developed around the corner, so I decided to stop in. The shop is small but cute and very well organized. The employee (maybe owner) I spoke with was really pleasant and the book I selected was priced super well and for much cheaper than I could've gotten it on Amazon. I look forward to coming again”

333 Westchester Ave, White Plains“I graduated in January with an MSED in TESOL. I loved my professors and advisors. Everyone in the department was amazing, really supportive. They provide vital assistance and advice with teacher exams, certification, and getting hired. I am only giving 4 stars because there were occasional issues with the registrar, bursar, and other offices that were sometimes disorganized, slow to correct their errors, and generally unhelpful. But in my experience, most schools are like that.”
“Ordered my husband some books that had got returned due to nudity and also what the jail considered gang related. The mail room at the jail gave me a hard time. First I called Special Needs and they sent my husband proof of delivery to go along with his grievance and that is when we found out it was returned, i called a couple weeks later and the representative Darin who handles the online orders was great. He was able to find the order and credit my account so I can order immediately. Thank you for assisting me.”
“Delightful bookstore under the new ownership! The owner and her daughter were so friendly and welcoming, happy to chat away about great books, their cute backpacks and stationary and seeds! It’s a lovely store with a great ambiance. I’m so happy to have another lovely bookstore in Larchmont.”
