“We were traveling from DC to MA to visit family and stopped for lunch in Mamaroneck. Much to our surprise, when we tried to get back into our car it was totally dead. Luckily, we were a short walk away from Mavis. Merrick helped us on this day, he went above and beyond, he could not have been more helpful and kind. He walked with us down the street to where our car had died. He diagnosed the issue, a dead battery, then went back to the shop to gather all needed tools and a new battery. He was able to expeditiously swap out the battery and get us up and running again on our trip.
Big thanks to Merrick and the team at the Mamaroneck Mavis for helping us out of jam. Service was top notch and turned what could have been a bad situation into only a minor interruption of our trip.

“New Tires Installed Same Day
Needed two new rear tires so brought my car in close to noon, figuring get the order in and get the tires installed the next day. But the last time they replaced a tire for me, they got it same day so I asked, figured I give it a shot. Sure enough, they called around 4, saying the tires came in and if I brought the car back, they could install them. Good stuff all around plus a good talk with the owner Jim while the tires were getting installed.”

Not only did these guys align it the best they could they also found the issue that was causing my alignment issues when no one else could.

I was in a bind (on the way to take care of my Mom sick in hospital) when I learned that my rear right tire had run over a bolt and was slowly losing air. Mavis was highly recommended by a Mobil gas attendant. And he was so right. Mario was the manager out front who took down what was wrong with the car.
He saw the stress I was under and assured me that I would be out soon. And he was right! In less than an hour my tire was fixed and the car was ready. Let me tell you that car rides now as smooth as butter. And yes the price was right! Thank you so much Mario and team!!! You rock!!!”

The job involved mounting two new tires, essentially removing the older two and putting the new ones on the rims and onto vehicle.
They are honest, prompt and thorough. There were no gimmicks like trying to upsell things I didn't need. The price was very competitive and I am very satisfied with the results. I will definitely come back.”

I came in at 6:30 pm (30 Mins before they close) in a pouring rainstorm with 2 of my own tires to have mount and balanced. No problem . Jacked up within minute . Out by 7 . So professional and quick. Being from out of town I wasn't sure where to get my car towed to, so I was recommended by the tow truck driver to go to Tarrytown Auto Care and I'm glad I took his advice. This shop was able to find the issue very quickly and got my car back on the road within 2 days. I wanted to wait before leaving this review, and I must say that my car has been running very smoothly since they've fixed it. “I want to recognize Jake, the manager, and Glory at the Mavis location in Larchmont for their outstanding customer service.
After experiencing an issue with poorly aligned tires at another Mavis location, Jake and Glory were incredibly attentive and professional. They took the time to understand the situation, addressed the problem, and made sure the wheels were properly aligned and everything was resolved.
I appreciated how seriously they took the issue and how helpful they were throughout the process. Their professionalism and commitment to making things right made a real difference.
