“I just wanted to say that I am sorry to the bank tellers who were working today between 1:00pm -2:00pm. I didn’t catch their names, but two tellers were doing all that they could with a line of people and DID NOT DESERVE the nasty comments some of the customers waiting in line said. Shame on the two old men, who were clearly impatient and have nothing better to do with their lives, that berated the two tellers. Shoutout to the workers for staying calm and not feeding into the unnecessary behavior.”

“I had an issue with fraud this morning. I went to my local branch and worked with Taylor, who immediately put me at ease. She assured me that she would follow through with all the procedures that would keep me safe, printed me a new card, and it was all within fifteen minutes. Sunmark continues to be top-tier in every way, and people like Taylor make that possible. As a Sunmark customer for almost twenty years, I’m very pleased.”

“This is my "local" bank because I work downtown during the week and am in the Empire State Plaza daily. Their hours are convenient, they always have several tellers waiting to help with normal banking deposits and withdrawals (and several others who help with things like loans and such), and they are all super friendly. SEFCU handled my car loan and my home mortgage and both processes went super easy. The only downside to this location is that on NYS payday the place is mobbed! I avoid it that day whenever possible.”

This little hometown branch has become one of my favorite stops in town. It’s small in the best way — the staff actually knows you, they’re friendly without being fake, and they make banking feel easy instead of like a chore.
They’ve got a sit‑down area for kids, which is clutch when you’re trying to handle business without juggling a meltdown. Plus, free coffee and tea… no fuss, no extra charge, just grab a cup and chill for a minute.
And if you’re in a rush, the drive‑up ATM and drive‑through teller make everything quick and painless. Overall, it’s got that real community vibe — simple, smooth, and safe.”
“Went in for change for a weekend trip. The young lady that assisted me was very nice. She noticed while I was waiting my turn I read the sign for free insurance estimates and asked if I wanted to have an associate reach out? She took time explain how it worked as well! ❤ I was very appreciative as customer service these days can be difficult to come by.”

“I have been a customer with SEFCU/Broadview for more than two decades: I have a checking account with them, a savings account, and a credit line. I personally have never had even the slightest negative experience with them. Everything has been 100% above par. I did have a couple of instances where my checking account was compromised & unauthorized purchases were made. They rectified the situation & had the money back in my account within 24 hours. Their customer service department is excellent. ??”

“Just stopped in this location for the first time. Reviews were concerning, but I had a smooth experience. Easy parking. Greeted by guy sitting at the round entry way reception. Got in line, withdrew cash. Showed teller my id. She looked up my account using id. I gave clear instruction as to which account to withdraw money from and what denominations I wanted. She did so, repeating back what I asked to ensure it was accurate, it was. Counted the money out by hand, which is a bit surprising, since I normal branch has a machine that doe that...but it was done clearly and accurately. The whole transaction was pleasant and professional. Just thought I add this review so it isn't all doom and gloom. This is a convenient location for me in addition to my normal Latham/Cohoes branch.”
